Hyundai i20 Crossed 1.3 million sales mark in 10 years

Hyundai i20 which is known for its stylish looks and premium interiors has been in market for a few years as of now.Hyundai i20 is a global model which is offered in 2-door as well as 4-door body style.Hyundai Elite i20 has been one of the best selling car in India.The total sales of i20 in India has crossed over 8.5 Lakh units.And now after 10 years of it’s launch, Hyundai i20 has crossed over 1.3 million units worldwide.

It has set new benchmarks in the Premium Compact segment and continues to dominate with its world class appeal, performance and looks.”

Hyundai i20 is in it’s second generation as of now.The first generation I20 was launched in India in 2008.Second generation of I20 was introduced in 2014 with the facelift Elite i20 being showcased at the Auto Expo 2018.The facelift of Elite i20 has received stylish exterior design updates.Also, CVT for petrol models for made available May 2018 onwards.

Hyundai Elite i20 is doing really well in terms of total sales.An average of 10,000 units are sold per month in India.Hyundai Elite i20 2018 is powered by 1.2-litre Dual VTVT petrol engine which is mated to a 5-speed manual and CVT gearbox.Power and torque figures includes 82 BHP and 115 NM.The Diesel engine is the one that is very powerful making 89 BHP of power and massive 220 NM of torque.This big and punchy unit is a 1.4-litre CRDi one which is paired to a 6-speed manual transmission.The top-spec trim of Elite i20 2018 is loaded with top-notch features like 6 airbags, touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay, Android Auto, Auto A/C, Height adjustable driver seat, steering mounted controls and leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knob.
