Kia is all set to introduce the Indian Market to 2 New Luxurious Cars with insane tech, space, comfort, and features. One is next-gen Facelift Carnival which was discontinued from India due to emission norms while the other is an all-new electric SUV, EV9 that comes with crazy features and tech that no one would’ve expected from them. New-Gen 2024 Kia Carnival (Expected: H1 2024)

Kia India is launching the next generation Kia Carnival which basically is an facelift update in the Korean market, but in India it’ll be launched as an New Generation update. It’s almost like a home on wheels because of how much comfortable the seats are in this MPV. It has four rows with captain seats in second-row which are similar to Kia EV9. Kia offers the Carnival with a V6 Engine internationally, expect the 2.2 L Diesel Engine to be offered, while it’s possible Kia could replace the V6 Engine in India with the 2.0 L Turbo Petrol Engine.

The Carnival has features like dual 10.25-inch display, ventilated and heated seats, a single-pane sunroof, and a panoramic sunroof, 360 Surround View Camera, Level 2 ADAS, and so much more. The Carnival doesn’t have any direct rivals as it’s the only MPV in the segment, and it’ll continue to be the best-selling MPV in its own category. New Kia EV9 (Expected: Late 2024)

Kia’s EV9 Test Mule has been spied testing in India for the first time and from the looks of it, it’ll look the same as other EV9 models sold internationally, no changes at all, plus the version that was spied was the GT-line spec. The EV9 measures just above 5 Meters in length. The GT-Line trim spied comes with 99.8 kWh battery pack with All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) drivetrain and it’s a dual motor setup generating 374 BHP and 700 NM of torque with 435 KM Range.

In Features, the luxurious EV9 comes with Level 3 ADAS with 20+ Features; Thin-lens LED Projection Head Lamp, Remote Smart Parking Assist 2, Digital Center Mirror, Digital Side Mirror, 14-speaker Meridian Premium Sound System, Dual Sunroof, Hidden-type touch buttons for HVAC controls, Heads-up Display (HUD), 2nd Row Swivel Seats (6-Seater version only), 3-zone Climate Control, Dual 12.3-inch Displays – Infotainment and Digital Instrument Cluster, 1st & 2nd Row Heated & Ventilated Seats, 360 Surround View Camera, and so much more.

Kia is expected to launch the EV9 later this year, most probably near the end of 2024.
