Hyundai Motors India launched the Knight Edition for the Venue SUV, and its available only with Petrol Powertrain, and not with the 1.5 L Diesel Engine.
Hyundai Venue Knight Edition – What you need to know!
The Venue Knight Edition comes with no mechanical changes, but now it comes equipped with Dashcam like the one on Venue N-Line Variant, and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror. The Venue becomes the second SUV after the Creta to get the Knight Edition. There are cosmetic changes like the blacked out elements including the front grille, roof rails, alloy wheels with red brake callipers, wing mirrors, and front and rear skid plates.
In order to create a distinctive paint scheme, Hyundai has added brass-colored elements into various parts such as the bumpers, alloy wheels, and roof rails. Furthermore, the logos across the SUV are treated with dark chrome finish and Knight Emblem that is similar to the one featured on the same edition of the Creta. The Knight Edition of Venue is available in 4 monotone colors – black, white, grey, and red, and dual-tone paint option of red and black. As for the interiors, the all-black upholstery continues with brass accents.
Hyundai Venue Knight Edition – Powertrain
The Venue Knight Edition is offered with Petrol-only Powertrain and misses out on Diesel Powertrain, thus, it comes with the 1.2 L Kappa Engine producing 81.80 bhp and 113.8 Nm of torque paired with 5-speed Manual Gearbox, and its offered with the S(O), and SX variants. The powerful 1.0 L Turbo Petrol Engine produces 118.41 bhp and 172 Nm of torque paired to 6-speed MT and 7-Speed DCT Gearbox and is offered with the SX(O) variants only.

The Hyundai Venue rivals the Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza. Hyundai Motors recently launched the Adventure Editions for the Alcazar and Creta that comes with slight new features, and a new Ranger Khaki Color Option. Additionally, it is being reported that the next-gen Venue in India in 2025, and the production for it will begin from the recently acquired Talegaon plant with plans to manufacture 1.5 Lakh Units annually.
