Exterior Design

Tata Harrier Exterior

The Tata Harrier looks very strong and tough. It has a “macho” style that makes it look bigger and more aggressive than other SUVs like the MG Hector. The front of the car has a new grille with shiny metal points and connected lights that glow when you lock or unlock the car. The headlights are bright LED lamps placed lower down, which helps you see the road better at night.

From the side, the car looks wide and sporty. It’s equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, but if you get the Dark Edition, it comes with even bigger 19-inch wheels. The back of the car looks a bit like a Range Rover. It has Z-shape tail-lamps, a sporty spoiler on the roof, and a power tailgate that opens automatically with gesture control. Overall, this car turns heads wherever it goes.

Interior and Comfort

Inside the car, Tata has made many changes to make it feel rich and modern. The dashboard has a huge 12.3-inch infotainment for music and maps. It connects wirelessly to your phone. There is also a clear digital screen in front of the driver that shows navigation maps. The music system is from JBL and sounds amazing because the whole cabin gets 10 Speakers.

The seats are very comfortable. The front seats are wide and can be adjusted electrically. They also have a ventilated seats, which is great for hot weather. The driver’s seat even remembers your favourite position. In the back seat, there is plenty of room for three adults. There is good legroom and headroom, even for tall people. However, the storage space for small items like phones is not very good, and the wireless charger is in a tricky spot to reach.

The Harrier is built on a strong platform used by Land Rover, which makes it very stable at high speeds. It comes with a 2.0 Liter Diesel Engine that feels powerful. When you put the car in “Sport” mode, it drives very fast. The suspension is excellent and easily handles bad roads and potholes. You will not feel bumps inside the cabin.

You can choose from three driving modes: Eco, City, and Sport. These help you save fuel or get more power when you need it. The mileage is decent for a big car. In the city, you will get about 10 to 11 kmpl. On the highway, it can go up to 12 or 14 kmpl. The only downside is that the diesel engine is a little noisy compared to petrol cars, and there is no petrol option available.

Safety

Safety is the best thing about the Tata Harrier. It has received a full 5 Star safety rating from Global NCAP, meaning it is very safe in a crash. The body of the car is built like a tank. It also comes with Level 2 ADAS and includes functions such as Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward and Rear Collision Warning, and so on.

The car has seven airbags to protect passengers. It also has disc brakes on all four wheels for better stopping power. A very useful feature is the 360-degree camera. It shows a clear view of everything around the car on the screen making it very easy to park this big SUV in tight spaces.

Verdict: Should You Buy It?

The Tata Harrier is a great choice if you want a car that looks bold and feels very safe. It is perfect for people who like powerful diesel engines and drive long distances on highways or rough roads. The strong build quality and new technology make it worth the money.

However, this might not be the right car for you if you want a quiet petrol engine. Also, if you need a lot of luggage space, the boot is slightly smaller than some other cars. But if you want a tough, stylish, and safe SUV, the Harrier is one of the best options in the market.
