Team Car Delight

Maruti Suzuki has their hands full of work as they’re currently busy testing the electric Creta-rival SUV overseas, and also busy testing the next-generation Swift as well. Along with that, the next-gen Dzire and the Ciaz is in works as well, and whenever Maruti decides to launch them, one thing is sure that the sales for these 4 models is going to be insane. So, why don’t we let you know everything about these 4 cars we know so far!

Maruti Swift

It was recently revealed that the next-gen Swift will be unveiled in two months and will come with the petrol-hybrid powertrain that’ll take fuel efficiency somewhere between 35 – 40 kmpl. This is going to be effective in the Indian Market given there is so much traffic, and especially when you’ve drive slowly in bumper-to-bumper traffic, your car consumes lots of fuel leading to very poor fuel efficiency, and travelling distance. The strong hybrid tech could extend the range one could travel which will be so much better. Other than that, it could come with features like wireless charging, 9-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple carplay/Android Auto, heads-up display, 360-degree camera, LED Projector Headlamps, and many more.

Maruti Dzire

The new Dzire will be powered by the Maruti’s all-new 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine and not a four-cylinder unit, paired to a version of Toyota’s strong-hybrid tech which we’ve seen in the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. It’ll be the same as Swift and will receive exterior and interior changes, but the dashboard layout will most likely be the same as the one in Fronx, Grand VItara, Brezza, etc. In Features, it’ll come with the same as the upcoming Swift.

Maruti Ciaz

The new Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is an upcoming next-gen update for the sedan and is expected to launch in India sometime in 2024. The Ciaz is a mid-size sedan that is so spacious, and offers good fuel efficiency. However, the sedan’s interiors was in dire need of an update and it looks it’ll get the major update that it requires. The new 2024 will have the same dashboard layout as other new Maruti cars interiors, meaning it’ll sport a new 9-inch infotainment system at the center and possibly digital instrument cluster for the top variant. It’ll get paddle shifters on the three-spoke steering wheel, wireless charging pad in front of the gearbox, and possibly ventilated seats for both driver and front passenger. Moreover, it’ll get the Arkamy’s 6-speaker sound system over the standard one it offers in the current Ciaz.

Maruti eVX

The eVX was first seen at the Auto Expo held in January 2023 as a concept, and then few weeks ago, the production ready test mule was spotted undergoing testing. The eVX will rival the electric Hyundai Creta that is also undergoing testing in India. The eVX measures 4.2 meters in length and Maruti says the eVX will come with range of 500 km, and will be loaded with features such as 360-degree camera, heads-up display, ventilated seats, 9-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple Carplay/Android Auto, LED Projector headlamps, and it’s expected to introduce electric parking brake with auto-hold function, and many more. The SUV from the outside looks sportier, and the interior will most likely have the same interior designing as the recent Maruti cars like the Fronx, Brezza, Grand Vitara, etc.
