
Volvo XC60 Facelift
Launch: August 1st, 2025
The Volvo XC60 facelift is set to launch in India on August 1 and brings a series of design and tech enhancements while retaining its signature luxury appeal. On the outside, the facelifted model draws styling cues from the larger XC90, featuring a refreshed front grille, newly designed alloy wheels, and smoky-effect taillights. It will also get two new paint shades – Forest Lake and Aurora Silver with Mulberry Red – for added personalization. Inside the cabin, the XC60 facelift boasts a more advanced 11.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system powered by Google and Snapdragon Cockpit Platform, offering sharper graphics, quicker response, and OTA (Over-the-Air) updates.
Despite the visual and tech upgrades, the powertrain remains unchanged. The XC60 facelift will continue to be powered by the same mild-hybrid petrol engine setup, delivering refined performance suitable for urban and highway drives.

MG Cyberster

Maruti Suzuki Escudo
Launch: Sept 3rd, 2025
Maruti Suzuki eVitara
Expected Launch: Oct 2025
Maruti Suzuki had unveiled its first electric SUV, the e Vitara, which was suppose to launch in September, but it’s delayed to October now. It’ll compete with the Tata Curvv EV, Hyundai Creta Electric, MG ZS EV, and Mahindra BE 6. Built on a skateboard platform co-developed with Toyota, it features LFP ‘blade’ cells from BYD and promises an MIDC range of over 500km with the larger 61 kWh battery pack.
The e-Vitara showcases a muscular design with a toned-down version of its concept styling, 18-inch wheels, and a range of 10 colors with dual-tone options. Its interior boasts a unique dashboard layout, featuring a 10.25-inch floating touchscreen, a 10.1-inch digital cluster, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, and Level 2 ADAS. The SUV also includes a flat-bottom steering wheel, automatic climate control, and premium upholstery. With three drive modes and safety features like 7 airbags, ADAS, the eVitara combines practicality with cutting-edge tech to redefine Maruti’s presence in the EV segment.

Tata Sierra
Expected Launch: Oct – Dec 2025
Tata will be launching the Sierra SUV in both the ICE and EV forms, with the EV version launching first by the festive season with ICE version by end of this year. Tata showcased the pre-production model at the auto expo showing the bold rugged look the SUV once it goes into production. The EV won’t differ much, but could get new bumper design same as Harrier.ev, new alloy wheels, ev bits styling, etc. Interiors will see 12.3-inch triple screen setup, more legroom in the rear row, and more premium interiors over other Tata models.
Powertrain Options will include –
- 1.5 L Turbo Petrol – 168 BHP, 280 NM – 6 Speed MT, 7 Speed DCT
- 2.0 L Diesel – 168 BHP, 350 NM – 6 Speed MT / AT
- Battery Specs: 55 – 65 kWh Battery Pack – FWD and possible AWD – 400 – 500 KM Range
New-Gen Hyundai Venue
Expected Launch: October 2025
Hyundai has been spotted testing the next-generation Venue in India and in South Korea. The new Venue will undergo full redesign for both the exterior and the interiors with inspiration from the Palisade (sold internationally) while also borrowing equipments from the Creta like the Quad-Beam Headlamps. Features-wise it’ll get ventilated seats, electronic parking brake, upgraded Level 2 ADAS, possibly Panoramic Sunroof, 17-inch alloy wheels, 360 Surround View Camera, and much more.
Engine Options will be retained as well –
- 1.2 L Petrol NA – 82 BHP, 114 NM – 5 Speed MT
- 1.0 L Turbo Petrol – 118 BHP, 172 NM – 6 Speed MT, 7 Speed DCT
- 1.5 L Diesel – 114 BHP, 250 NM – 6 Speed MT
Tata Punch Facelift
Expected Launch: H2 2025

Tata will be launching the Punch Facelift for India in the second half of 2025. Design-wise the SUV will look the same as its EV counterpart except it won’t get the LED positioning lamp to give that connected LED look at the front. It’ll get split LED Headlamps, new alloy wheels design from the side. From the inside, it’ll get new 10.25-inches Digital Cluster and seat ventilation which will be exclusive to top variants. Other than that, not much is expected. However, a price hike is likely.
Powertrain-wise, it’ll retain the current options:
- 1.2 L 3 Cylinder Petrol – 87 BHP, 115 NM – 5 Speed MT / AMT
- 1.2 L CNG Engine – 72 BHP, 103 NM – 5 Speed Manual (MT) – It’s possible Tata introduce the AMT option with CNG
