8 Cars that are getting facelift update soon!

In the coming months, the Indian Market will see launch of many cars with facelift update that’ll see changes in exterior, and addition or introduction of new features for the car that’ll absolutely be game changer in those segment. Here are the cars that’ll be getting facelift update very soon!

Tata Nexon Facelift (Expected Launch: August 2023)

Tata Motors has been spotted numerous times now testing the Nexon Facelift, and we’ve seen the changes, they’re going to make to the SUV. It’ll be getting a new digital instrument cluster, a new 10.25-inch infotainment system, a digital display on the new two-spoke steering wheel to control the instrument cluster, and a few functions of the infotainment system, Exterior will see front and rear end design change inspired from Tata Curvv. It’ll also get a new 1.2-litre turbo petrol powertrain producing 118.35 bhp and 170 Nm of torque paired to a 6-speed Manual and 7-speed DCT Gearbox.

Tata Harrier Facelift (Expected Launch: October 2023)

Tata Motors along with the Nexon is consistently testing and working on the new Harrier facelift that is expected to launch in October 2023. The Harrier will sport a new front grille design and a new LED light bar at the rear to have the connected taillamps look. As per the leaks, the front of the Harrier facelift will look exactly the same as the Harrier EV that was showcased at the Auto Expo held in January 2023. The Harrier facelift is expected to get a new turbo petrol engine which will produce 170 bhp and 280 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed Manual Gearbox and 7-speed DCT Gearbox . It could also get RDE-compliant 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine which produces 168 bhp and 350 Nm of torque paired to 6-speed Manual Transmission and 6-speed Automatic Transmission.

The interior will be getting changes as well as it will be getting the new 10.25-inch infotainment system that will be thinner, sharper and smoother than the current one, new Steptronic Gear shifter, rotary dial for the drive mode, digital display on the four-spoke steering wheel to control the digital instrument cluster, and touch-sensitive screen on the center console for climate control. The Harrier facelift will also get new features such as multi-color ambient lighting, updated UI for infotainment system, and more ADAS tech.

Tata Safari Facelift (Expected Launch: October 2023)

Tata Motors just like the Harrier and Nexon facelift, Tata has been consistently testing the Safari facelift but just recently, the interior dashboard was spotted undisguised, and from what we can see, the Safari facelift will be getting the new 10.25-inch infotainment system that will be thinner, sharper and smoother than the current one, new Steptronic Gear shifter, rotary dial for the drive mode, digital display on the four-spoke steering wheel to control the new digital instrument cluster, and touch-sensitive screen on the center console for climate control.

The exterior will see Safari facelift taking design cues from the Harrier EV like the new front grille inspired from the Harrier EV and will have few additional features over the upcoming Harrier facelift. Tata is expected to launch the Safari facelift along with the Harrier Facelift in October 2023.

Hyundai i20 Facelift (Expected Launch: November 2023)

Hyundai recently gave the i20 a mid-life facelift update with little changes to the exterior and interior of the hatchback. From the front, it has slightly tweaked design to the grille, and just above the bumpers, at the sides it get’s two arrow-shaped inlet. The lower part is finished in contrast black and now it has a wider chin. The headlamps unit in Europe remains unchanged as they’re LED headlamps unit. The Hyundai 2D logo has been repositioned from the grille to the body just below the bonnet to make room for the ADAS radar system.

Other than the styling changes, it gets a new star-shaped alloy wheels with 16-inch size in lower variants and 17-inch size in the top variants. The rear has minimal changes like the dual-tone rear bumper and faux diffuser. The i20 facelift gets three new exterior color shades – Lime Metallic Color, Lumen Gray, and Meta Blue Pearl shades. From the inside, there are no major changes or new equipment except for the fact it now has ADAS as standard with Lane Following Assistance, and Forward Collision Warning with Assistance.

Hyundai has improved the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster as they look similar to the one’s in Creta and Venue. The i20 Facelift is expected to launch in November 2023.

Mahindra XUV300 Facelift (Expected Launch: December 2023)

Mahindra was spotted testing the XUV300 facelift with new tailgate which is flatter and possibly connected LED light bar with the taillights. From what was seen in the spy shots, the XUV300 will remain unchanged except for the cosmetic changes, and it could get a new alloy wheel sets as well. The interiors of the XUV300 in the spy shots cannot be seen, but Mahindra could add new features in the SUV such as bigger infotainment system, ventilated seats, digital instrument cluster, and many more. The design could change due to Mahindra cutting ties with Ssangyong, Korean carmaker as the current XUV300 design is styled in line with the Ssangyong Tivoli. The new design could take cues from the XUV700, or Scorpio-N. It is possible that Mahindra could launch the facelift of the XUV300 before the end of this year to take on it’s rivals.

Kia Sonet Facelift (Expected Launch: Early 2024)

Kia was spotted testing the Sonet facelift in Korea few months and since then it hasn’t been since then. But what’s interesting is that the test mule was exported from India to the headquarters of Kia. The Sonet Facelift will come with few design tweaks over the current one which are barely visible because it is heavily covered. The facelift will get crisper headlamp design and piano-black finished grille which is newly designed; the headlamps appears to be connected with the fog lamps vertically which might be used as LED DRLs or turn indicators, and a new bumper with large fog-lamps.

At the rear, the Sonet Facelift has L-shaped tail lamps similar to the one seen on the newly launched Seltos facelift or on the Kia Carens where as the current one has straight tail lamps with cube-shaped light inside the tail lamps that works as brake lights and for parking lights. The Sonet is already a feature-loaded compact SUV, and to add more, it could introduce 360-degree camera, 8-speaker Bose sound system, more color options in Ambient lighting, and introduce first-in segment features. The Kia Sonet facelift is expected to launch in India sometime in early 2024.

Hyundai Creta Facelift (Expected Launch: February 2024)

The spy shots of the Hyundai Creta Facelift reveals new front design like the vertical headlamp which will most likely be split unit and have Palisade-inspired LED DRLs with all-new square block grille resembling the Palisade closely, new front and rear bumpers, and ADAS panel just above the bumper at front. It also gets a new multi-spoke alloy wheels similar to the Alcazar. Moving to the rear, the Creta facelift will get a new redesigned H-shaped LED taillights with connected LED light bar. The Creta facelift from the inside is expected to get major dashboard redesign with range of new features over the current Creta.

Hyundai Motors earlier had discontinued the 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine, but it’s expected to introduce a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine for the facelift. This 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine produces 157 bhp and 253 Nm of torque paired to 6-speed Manual and 7-speed DCT Gearbox. This engine is used by it’s sister company, Kia, in Seltos facelift. The Creta Facelift was spied with ADAS and will get Level 2 features same as the 2023 Hyundai Verna such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring System, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Forward Collision Warning, Auto High Beam Assist, and many more.

Other than that, the Creta Facelift is expected to come with new features with 360-degree camera, multi-color ambient lights, front parking sensors, and its entirely possible Hyundai could introduce heated seats as first-in segment feature just like it did with the new Verna. The Hyundai Creta Facelift is expected to hit the Indian market in February 2024.

Nissan Magnite Facelift (Expected Launch: 2024)

At the moment, not a single spy shots of the Nissan Magnite Facelift has been spotted. However, the facelift update of the Magnite is expected to be in works with exterior change like the front honeycomb grille replaced with the signature Nissan V-Motion Face. The Halogen headlamps unit could be upgraded to LED headlamps, and the bumpers could be tweaked slightly for sportier look.

From the side, it could sport new alloy wheels design, and nothing else. At the rear, it could get connected LED taillights since many SUVs and Sedans are doing this at the rear. From the inside, it could get a bigger infotainment system, and new layout for the dashboard. Other than that, it could get features like ventilated Seats, single-pane sunroof, 10.25-inch infotainment system with Wireless Apple Carplay/Android Auto, and few more. It is expected for launch sometime in 2024.
