Next gen Superb Kodiaq Teased by Skoda along with 4 New EVs

Skoda had recently discontinued the Superb from the India’s line-up, however, Skoda is preparing for it’s next generation update along with Kodiaq as well. Skoda also confirmed it’ll launch four new EVs by the end of 2026.

New Skoda Superb and Kodiaq – What we know so far!

Skoda released teasers for the next generation Superb and Kodiaq and it reveals very minimal details. From what we can see, the Superb and Kodiaq will have sleeker and sharper LED headlamps and taillamps as part of the exterior changes. Skoda also shared the powertrain options for both the models – Petrol, Diesel, Mild and Plug-in Hybrids.

Skoda added that changes these two new-gen models will be going through would be from the inside. We can expect Skoda to make it look slightly more premium, spacious, and feature-loaded. The next-gen Superb and Kodiaq is expected to debut in India sometime in 2024 with the Octavia facelift also expected to launch in 2024.

Skoda’s four new pure EVs

Many carmakers around the world are amplifying their electric vehicles line-up. Skoda is also working on Strengthening their EVs line-up as it plans to launch six electric vehicles of different sizes in future between the year 2024 till the end of 2026. Out of these six EVs, two EVs are going to be updates for the Enyaq and the Enyaq Coupe. The four new Pure EVs Skoda will be launching are of four types and they are –

“Small” in 2025 – This EV will be based on the MQB A0 platform that measures 4.2 meters in length and will be an entry-level EV from Skoda.

“Compact” in 2024 – This Compact EV is basically a replacement for their Karoq which was discontinued from the Indian Market in early 2021 to give way for the Kushaq. This replacement EV will be called, Elroq.

“Combi” in 2026 – This EV will be in the line-up of estates which could be around the size of Octavia Combi.

“Space” in 2026 – This EV will follow the 7-seater Vision S SUV concept and will be a production version of the concept.

Skoda will be unveiling the updated Enyaq line-up globally in 2025. Skoda is expected to launch the Enyaq iV in India later this year as a CBU EV and on it’s launch, it’ll rival the Kia EV6, and Hyundai Ioniq 5.
