Maruti Suzuki’s April Sales Figures out Now!

Maruti Suzuki has sold over 1,37,320 units with a 12.56% of growth 

Maruti Suzuki is known for their reliable engine, features, and affordable maintenance. And because of Maruti Suzuki’s image in the Indian Market, they have successfully sold 1,37,320 units which is 12.56% more than the previous year. In detail last year in April Maruti Suzuki sold 1,21,995 units and this year the company sold 1,37,320 units which is a 12.56% growth over the last year. When comparing it with the last month’s sales that is March sales then in April the sales has been grown by 3.43%. All the cars have different shares such as the Alto and S-Presso who’s 14,110 units sold which is 10% of total sales, moreover, the Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift, Tour S, WagonR has 74,935 units which are 54% of the total sales. Other cars like Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Ertiga, Fronx, S-Cross, XL6, and Grand Vitara hold 36,754 units which are 27% of total sales. 

Upcoming cars by Maruti Suzuki 

There are a couple of upcoming cars by Maruti Suzuki which include the Maruti Suzuki Jimny and Toyota Innova Hycross Based MPV by Maruti Suzuki. 

Maruti Suzuki Jimny 

The Maruti Suzuki Jimny will directly compete with the Mahindra Thar, talking about the engine specs of the Suzuki Jimny, so it is expected that the car will get a 1.5L petrol engine that will produce 104ps of power. There won’t be a diesel engine as there is no diesel engine option available with any Suzuki car. The petrol engine will be mated with a 5-speed MT as well as a 4-speed AT gearbox.  

Toyota Innova Hycross-based MPV 

We all know that Maruti Suzuki and Toyota have signed a pact and have been in a partnership for a long time now. Toyota has already launched the Toyota Glanza which is basically the Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Toyota Urban Cruiser which is the previous generation Maruti Suzuki Brezza. Now, Maruti Suzuki has decided that they will launch an MPV that will follow the powertrain and platform of the Toyota Innova Hycross. Just like the Hycross, it will be based on petrol+hybrid power.
