These modes, however, are limited to front-wheel-drive configurations, relying on the car’s electronic stability program (ESP) to optimize performance on varying terrains.

The upcoming Tata Harrier EV, along with the Safari EV, is expected to benefit from more sophisticated terrain modes, labeled as “Terrain Response 2.” These new drive modes could include Normal, Snow, Mud & Ruts, Sand, Rough, and an Individual mode that allows for personalized vehicle settings.
