At the front as you can see, the Tata Altroz has Halogen headlamps with blacked out grille and the chrome line going from the headlamps to another headlamps with fog lamps below them, and on the bonnet it has few cuts for a sporty look. Moving to the side, it has cladding at the bottom window frame, few cuts on the body, and rides on 16-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, it has rear wipers on the windscreen, a little spoiler, LED taillamps and rear bumper blacked out.


The front of the Punch has blacked out element that connects with the LED DRLs and Tata logo at the center. Below that is the tri-arrow grille that connects with the fog lamps and projector headlamps above them that are obviously halogen. At the side, there is slight cuts to have that punch look with 16-inch alloy wheels, and non-functional roof rails for design purpose. At the rear, there is the tri-arrow treatment in the taillamps as well which are of course going to be LEDs and faux black skid plate.


From the inside, the Altroz has 7-inch infotainment system above the AC vents and AC vents at the sides are positioned horizontally. It does not have the dual-tone dashboard theme option unfortunately. The Altroz has Digital instrument cluster with three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, single-pane sunroof on top, and pedals finished in black. It has one USB charging port at the front and ambient lighting around the AC vent at the center. Moving to the rear, the seats are split in 60:40 ratio and has leather seats upholstery. The Altroz has an 8-speaker Harman sound system.
As for the Punch, it has 7-inch infotainment system above the rectangular AC vents with dual-tone dashboard theme option as well. The Punch has a Semi-Digital infotainment system with three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, blue accents around the AC vents, and pedals finished in black. It has one USB charging pin at the front and not at the rear. However, moving to the rear, the seats are split in 60:40 ratio and has 6-speaker Harman sound system.
So, from the outside, the Altroz looks good but the Punch looks spacious. From the inside, the Altroz looks good and premium than the Punch.

The Altroz has a wheelbase of 2580mm and ground clearance of 165mm where as the Punch has a wheelbase of 2445mm that is shorter by 135mm, and ground clearance of 187mm which is higher by 22mm. The Altroz has a boot space of 345 litres, and kerb weight of 1,115 kg while the Punch has a boot space of 366 litres that is bigger by 21 litres, and kerb weight of 1,070 kg which is lighter by 45 kg.
