Mahindra has reduced the price of its 7-Seater SUV by introducing a new variant which is more accessible to customers. It’s a new MX 7 Seater Diesel Variant which is priced at Rs. 14.99 Lakh.
New XUV700 MX 7 Seater Variant: Anything New?
Mahindra launched a new MX 7 Seater Diesel Variant making it affordable for people to buy the SUV in 7 Seater configuration at an affordable price of Rs. 14.99 Lakh. It costs Rs. 40,000 more than the 5-Seater variant. The MX 7-Seater has same features as the 5 Seater version such as 8-inch Infotainment System with Android Auto, 7-inch MID with Analog Instrument Cluster, multiple USB Ports, tilt adjustable steering, adjustable headrests, ISOFIX Anchorages, and powered ORVMs.

Moreover, the 7-Seater SUV will be AC vents in the third row, second-row with centre armrest, and one touch tumble function for second-row seats in order to enter the third-row. The SUV will be available in 5 Colour Options – Everest White, Midnight Black, Dazzling Red, Red Rage, and Napoli Black – It’s the same as the 5 Seater variant.
Other than that, there is nothing with this variant. It mechanically stays identical to the other MX Variant – Powered by 2.2 L Diesel Engine producing 152.87 BHP and 360 N Torque mated to 6 Speed Manual Gearbox. Although the MX variant is also available with 2.0 L Turbo Petrol engine, it’s possible Mahindra may launch the MX 7-Seater petrol variant soon, probably before this year end.
Mahindra XUV700 competes with Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar, and the MG Hector Plus.
