Mahindra Thar Gets an Update: All Details!
Mahindra has introduced a new colour option, “Deep Forest”, which is available with the Scorpio-N and the XUV3XO SUVs. This new colour options takes the total to 6 exterior paint options with the other 5 being – Stealth Black, Red Rage, Deep Grey, Everest White, and Desert Fury. Mahindra had recently added the “Desert Fury” with the Earth Edition launched in February as an tribute to Mighty Thar.

The Deep Forest colour resembles the Military Green used by the Indian Armed Forces, and you know what, it suits the SUV. While black is the most preferred option with the Thar, the Deep Forest option could soon become the second most preferred colour option for the SUV.
The 3-Door Thar is available with 3 Engine Options – 2.2 L Diesel generating 130 BHP and 300 NM Torque; 2.0 L Turbo Petrol with 150 BHP and 300 NM & 320 NM Torque; and the 1.5 L Diesel with 117 BHP and 300 NM Torque. It has 6 Speed Manual and Automatic Gearbox choices available except the 1.5 L Diesel gets Manual Transmission only.
Recently, the carmarker also has hiked the entry-level variants price by Rs. 10,000 taking its starting price to Rs. 11.35 Lakh while the top trim pricing of Rs. 12.35 Lakh stays the same.
