Volvo has discontinued it's most affordabele SUV, XC40 Petrol in India.
The XC40 Petrol has been delisted from the brand's official website.
The XC40 Petrol was competing against the likes of BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA, & MINI Countryman
However, it's electric sibling, XC40 Recharge was outselling the Petrol version with huge increase in demands
The XC40 Petrol was offering in single trim - B4 Ultimate priced at Rs. 46.40 Lakh which comes with all the features and tech offered globally.
The XC40 Petrol was powered by the 2.0 L Petrol engine producing 197 BHP and 300 NM of torque with a 48V Mild-Hybrid System.
With the XC40 Petrol Discontinued, Volvo now only has XC90, XC60, and S90 in it's ICE form for the Indian Market.
