New-Gen 2024 Kia Carnival Facelift (Expected: 2024)
Kia India is launching the next generation Kia Carnival which basically is an facelift update in the Korean market, but in India it’ll be launched as an New Generation update. It’s almost like a home on wheels because of how much comfortable the seats are in this MPV. It has four rows with captain seats in second-row which are similar to Kia EV9. Kia offers the Carnival with a V6 Engine internationally, expect the 2.2 L Diesel Engine to be offered, while it’s possible Kia could replace the V6 Engine in India with the 2.0 L Turbo Petrol Engine.
The Carnival has features like dual 10.25-inch display, ventilated and heated seats, a single-pane sunroof, and a panoramic sunroof, 360 Surround View Camera, Level 2 ADAS, and so much more. The Carnival doesn’t have any direct rivals as it’s the only MPV in the segment, and it’ll continue to be the best-selling MPV in its own category. We expect to learn more about the new India-bound Carnival in the coming weeks.
New Kia Electric MPV (Expected: 2025)
Kia has an electric MPV in development which is part of their whopping Rs. 2,000 Crore Investment in electric vehicles. We know Kia EV9 will come to India at a certain point, but this new electric MPV is entirely new MPV which could cost less than the upcoming Carnival, or maybe an affordable MPV. At this point, we’ve no information about this zero-emission electric MPV, and maybe sometime in the future we will probably here more about this project in the future given Kia has plans to introduce two new EVs by 2025.
New Nissan MPV (Expected: 2024 – 2025)
Nissan has plans to launch a sub 4-meter MPV or basically their version of Renault Triber for the Indian Market. It’ll be powered by the 1.0 L Petrol Engine, and a 1.0 L Turbo Petrol. Currently, the Renault Triber is priced at Rs. 6.33 lakh, we can expect Nissan to price their Triber version MPV at between Rs. 7 – Rs. 9 Lakh as the main aim is provide an affordable MPV to take on segment leader, Maruti Suzuki with their Ertiga and XL6.
New Tata MPV (Expected: 2025)
Tata Motors almost has all cars in the every segment out there which exists but they don’t have one car in one segment, MPV. Tata Motors is reportedly working on an all-new MPV which will compete with the likes of Maruti Ertiga, Kia Carens, Hyundai Alcazar, Toyota Innvoa HyCross, etc. The details are complete mystery right now so we don’t have any info just yet, but we expect Tata to offer this MPV with tons of feature like ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, 360 Surround View Camera with front and rear parking sensors, Level 2 ADAS, 12.3-inch infotainment system, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with navigation, captain seats in second row, and so much more.
