Tata Motors India will supply Tigor EVs to Cognizant.The software company,Cognizent will supply the EVs to the Hyderabad campus.The first 10 vehicles has already been delivered.
Tata Motors has also partnered with Volercars to deliver integrated ground operations and fleet management to Cognizent.Also Tata Motors has collaborated with other Tata Group companies to setup charging infrastructure and for providing financial assistance and services for the proper functioning of Tigor EVs.As a part of this agreement,Tata Power will install two fast charging stations at Hyderabad Campus.
The Tigor EV is based on the Tigor compact sedan. It is powered by an all-electric drivetrain developed and supplied by Electra EV. The electric motor produces 40 BHP @ 4,500 rpm and is powered by a 216 Ah battery offering a claimed range of 130 km on single charge.
This is the first time Tata Power would be setting up an EV charging station outside Mumbai.They are the first one to built public EV charging stations in Mumbai.
Tigor EV will be powered by an all-electric drivetrain which produces power of 40 bhp @ 4,500 rpm with a range of 130 km on single charge.
