Hyundai Motors has launched the Creta Facelift for the Indian Market with the SUV getting numerous changes from the inside and outside, and some new features as well. So, we thought of comparing the facelift against one of the upcoming rival, Tata Curvv to see how it plans to compete.
Hyundai Creta Facelift vs Tata Curvv – Design
The new Creta Facelift comes with new robust. exterior design like the new radiator grille, upright hood contributing towards the strong, assertive and distinct road presence, connected Sequential LED DRLs, below that is the split unit vertical Quad-Beam LED headlamp with cube-like detailing, and skid plates as bumpers. The side profile features 17-inch alloy wheel with 5-spoke curvy design, integrated roof rails, and chrome door handles. The rear section now gets new dual L-shape connected taillamps, rear spoiler, shark fin antenna, and hidden wiper with washer.
Jumping to the inside, the Facelift comes with seamlessly integrated 10.25-inch dual displays – one for infotainment system, and one for fully digital instrument cluster. Below the dual displays is the panel to control infotainment system, and dual-zone climate control. The centre console has been tweaked to make it look a little luxurious, then there is illuminated buttons around gear lever for ventilated seats, rotary dial for drives and traction modes; parking camera, two cupholders behind lever, and fixed armrest.
The dashboard has been redesigned with thin AC vents, and dual-tone theme. The rear section is split in 60:40 ratio with center armrest, and 2-step reclining option, ambient lights around the cabin, panoramic sunroof on top, and the SUV gets 8 Speaker Bose Premium Sound System. Moreover, the boot space of 433 L is the same as before, and other changes inside the cabin include lighter colours and copper details.

The Tata Curvv from the outside has vertically-split headlamps at the front with a sharp styling with striking, minimalistic, yet future design which Tata calls it as “New Digital Design Language.” It has a sloping coupe-like roofline similar to the BMW X6, or Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupe, which integrates into the tailgate of the Curvv. From the side, it has body cladding, square-shape wheel arches, and rides on 18-inch alloy wheels. Moving to the rear, the connected LED taillamps theme continues and skid plates at the front and rear for bumpers.
From the inside, the Curvv gets a three-layer dashboard with a 12.3-inch infotainment system, thin AC vents placed underneath the Ambient Light bar for clean design, two-spoke multi-function steering wheel in front of the 10.24-inch Digital Cockpit Instrument Cluster, and it has touch-sensitive controls for the climate control. It has a Steptronic Automatic Gearbox lever with some inserts around the seats. The seatbelts were finished in red just the exterior. The roof has a single-pane sunroof since panoramic isn’t possible with the sloping roof. The centre console will be clean to give the luxurious look, the centre armrest will be fixed with some storage space inside; the rear seats has good space for comfy experience with mood lightings, and the SUV will be equipped with 10 Speakers JBL Sound System.
