Big Update on the Hector: All Details!

MG Motors has quietly updated the Hector and Hector Plus by increasing its price. The Hector price increases by Rs. 16,000 to Rs. 22,000 for the petrol variants, and Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 22,000 for the diesel variants. Blackstorm Edition prices are increased as well.

It’s worth noting that the pricing of base trims of both Petrol and Diesel remains unchanged, and the Smart Pro Diesel price remains unaffected. Manual trims see hike between Rs. 16,000 to Rs. 20,000 for Petrol while Diesel trims see hike between Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 22,000. Petrol trims with CVT Transmission sees hike between Rs. 17,000 to Rs. 22,000.

The Petrol trims of Hector Plus sees price hike between Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 24,000 while the Diesel trims sees hike between Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 30,000. MG has made no mechanical changes nor have they added any new features which would justify the price hike.

Recently, MG launched the Snowstorm and Desertstorm special edition of the Gloster to clear existing stocks to make room for the facelift which launches this year. The Hector Snowstorm was seen on roads undergoing maybe some tests, but it looks the same will be followed for Hector with launch likely by the end of this month. The Creta-rival, Astor SUV could also get these two special editions.
