Maruti Suzuki is set to launch its new Rs. 7 Lakh sedan, which will rival the likes of the Hyundai Aura, Tata Tigor, and Honda Amaze. The upcoming new-generation Dzire will boast impressive new features that are poised to revolutionize the segment. Here’s everything you need to know!

New Maruti Dzire: Exterior

The upcoming next-generation Maruti Dzire has been frequently spotted undergoing testing in various locations, including highways and hilly areas, revealing several significant updates. The exterior features a bold hexagonal front grille, sleek LED daytime running lights (DRLs) and headlamps, redesigned bumpers, and chrome accents. It rides on new 16-inch alloy wheels and boasts LED tail lamps with a distinctive Y-shape design.

New Maruti Dzire: Interior

The interior of the new Dzire draws inspiration from recent Maruti models like the Baleno, Brezza, and Fronx. Highlights include a free-standing 9-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a dual-tone dashboard, a new climate control panel with an LCD display, a 3-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, fabric seat upholstery, USB-C and USB-A charging ports, and 60:40 split rear seats. Additionally, it features a segment-first single-pane sunroof.

In Engine Options, the new Dzire will also come with the new 1.2 L 3 Cylinder Z12E Petrol Engine producing 80.46 BHP, and 111.7 NM Torque mated to both 5 Speed Manual and Automatic Gearbox. Maruti will also offer a CNG option with this engine at a later date except automatic transmission will not be available.

New Maruti Dzire: Features

The new Dzire is packed with features such as a 9-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charging pad, automatic climate control, a sunroof, rear AC vents, a 6-speaker sound system, and more. In terms of safety, it includes ABS with EBD, ESC, traction control, six airbags, front disc brakes, a 360-degree surround-view camera, and hill start assist, among other features.

New Maruti Dzire: Price, Launch, & Rivals

The current Dzire is priced between Rs. 6.57 lakh and Rs. 9.39 lakh. The new Dzire is expected to be priced between Rs. 7 lakh and Rs. 10 lakh. Upon its launch in the second half of 2024, it will continue to compete with models like the Honda Amaze, which is also getting a new generation during the festive season, as well as the Tata Tigor and Hyundai Aura.
