Toyota is reportedly going to launch 3 New SUVs for the Indian Market by the end of 2025. Out of those 3 is Toyota’s first electric SUV for the Indian Market slated for next year launch, the other two are the three-row SUVs which should help them strengthen their portfolio in India. New-Gen Toyota Fortuner
Before the New-Generation Fortuner launches, a mild-hybrid variant will be launched near the end of this year. Below we’ve listed all the details about the new-generation Fortuner.
- Exterior will see new Front Fascia, new Headlamps, DRLs, & connected Tail-Lamps; new sets of alloy wheels, and updated new bumpers.
- Interiors will undergo major changes like redesigned dashboard to accommodate new 10.25-inch infotainment, new 4-spoke steering wheel, new digital instrument cluster, seat upholstery, and captain seats.
- Based on Toyota’s TNGA-C Platform.

- Dimensions of the New Fortuner will increase by few Millimetres (MM’s).

- Exterior design to feature new Connected LED DRLs similar to the Crown SUV (sold internationally), LED headlamps underneath, chunky bumpers, aero-efficient alloy wheels, & connected LED Tail-Lamps.
- Interiors boasts new dual 10.25-inch displays that are seamlessly integrated. Minimalistic and clean design language.
- Based on Toyota’s 27PL Skateboard Platform.
- Dimensions will be 4.3 Meters in Length, 1.8 Meters in Width, and 1.6 Meters in Height.
- Battery Specs: 60 kWh Battery Pack with Dual-Motor Setup enabling All-Wheel-Drive (AWD), and Claimed Range of 550 KMs.
- Will likely also have 4×4 Drivetrain paired with terrain modes for off-road activities.
- Features: Level 2 ADAS, Ventilated Seats, Powered Driver Seats, 360 Surround View Camera, Hill Descent Control, Powered Tailgate, and so much more.
- Expected Price: Rs. 20 – 25 Lakh
- Expected Launch: Second Half of 2025

Toyota Hyryder-based 7 Seater SUV
- Exterior design will have close resemblance with the UC Hyryder like tweaked front and rear profile.
- Interior design will look identical to other models such as UC Hyryder, Glanza, etc.
- Likely to receive new 10.25-inch Infotainment System and 10.25-inch Instrument Cluster.
- Will be based on Global C Platform, also known as the Suzuki HEARTECT platform.
- Dimensions will be close to 4.6 Meters in Length while sporting a 2.7 Meters Wheelbase.
- Engine Options:
- 2.0 L 4 Cylinder Turbo Petrol Engine (172.99 BHP, 209 NM) [6 Speed MT / AT Gearbox]
