August 2024 is set to be an exciting month with the launch of three highly anticipated SUVs from Tata, Mahindra, and Citroën. These SUVs feature unique designs, premium features, and powerful engines, promising sporty and rugged performance. Here’s everything you need to know about these upcoming models:
Tata Curvv
- Exterior Design includes front grille with chrome inserts (for ICE ) with connected LED DRLs covering the front bonnet lip, new 18-inch alloy wheels, connected taillamps, coupe roofline and dual-tone bumpers. The EV features no front grille but a charging port underneath the Tata logo, different lower grille pattern, and aero-efficient 17 or 18-inch wheels.
- Interior includes 12.3-inch infotainment system, 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit Cluster, 4-spoke steering wheel, panoramic sunroof on top, ambient lights for cabin, and touch-sensitive panel for HVAC Control.
- Based on Platform: Tata X1

Mahindra Thar Roxx
- Exterior Design changes over 3-Door version includes tweaked block-pattern grille, new LED Headlamps, C-shaped DRLs which are dual-functional, Tail-lamps with stop lamp, new 19-inch alloy wheels, non convertible, new bumpers, camera’s on front grille, ORVMs, underneath the number plate at rear for 360 Camera; and rear seat doors mounted on C-Pillars.
- Interior Design includes new 10.25-inch infotainment, new fully digital cluster, new upholstery for cabin, tweaked centre console, spacious rear seats with rear AC vents, panoramic sunroof on top, and more space for boot.
- Based on Body-on-Frame (Zen3) Platform
- Dimensions will be close to 4.3 M in length with a 2.6 M Wheelbase.

Citroen Basalt
- Exterior Design bears close resemblance to C3 Aircross like the identical front fascia with slight different finish. Coupe Roofline, new LED Projector Headlamps, tail-lamps, dual-tone black & silver bumper, new alloy wheels with gun-metal finish.
- Interiors are similar to the C3 Aircross with new panel for Automatic Climate Control, along with slight changes.
- Built on the CMP Platform.
- Dimensions will be slightly more in terms of length over the C3 Aircross
- Engine Options: 1.2 L 3 Cylinder Turbo Petrol (108.62 BHP, 190 – 205 NM) (6 Speed MT / AT)
