The anticipated New Maruti Dzire is set to debut on November 11, bringing along a fresh design and feature upgrades. Previously speculated to arrive after Diwali, this confirmation sets an official launch date for the much-awaited sedan. Alongside the debut, Maruti Suzuki will reveal the Dzire’s pricing, with deliveries expected to start by mid-November.

A Distinct Design for 2024

While earlier models of the Swift and Dzire shared similar aesthetics, the New Maruti Dzire takes a bold, independent design approach in 2024. The sedan’s front fascia boasts an entirely unique look with a sharper, more defined body profile compared to the existing model’s curves. A large, horizontally slatted grille paired with slim headlamps adds to the car’s premium styling. Overall, the new Dzire exhibits a sportier silhouette that sets it apart from other sedans in this price range. Spy shots of the vehicle reveal newly designed alloy wheels, body-colored door handles, chrome window trim, and blacked-out B-pillars. At the rear, a glossy black strip connecting redesigned tail lamps and a modified bumper add to its modern appeal.

First-in-Segment Sunroof and Potential ADAS

Maruti Suzuki has equipped the New Maruti Dzire with a range of features that set it apart from the Swift, including a segment-first single-pane sunroof. This feature enhances the Dzire’s family-friendly appeal. There is also a possibility that top-spec models might come equipped with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), which would make the Dzire a standout choice in the entry-level sedan segment.

Enhanced Features Inside and Out

Several elements from the 4th-gen Swift are expected to be carried over, such as LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs, and LED rear combination lamps. Inside, the Dzire will feature a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an analog instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch multi-information display (MID), leather-wrapped steering wheel, and automatic climate control. Modern tech includes a voice-activated assistant, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as steering-mounted audio and call controls. Additionally, a wireless charger, power-folding ORVMs, and rear AC vents elevate passenger convenience.

The safety package on the New Maruti Dzire includes six airbags, electronic stability program, hill hold assist, reverse parking sensors, a 360 surround view camera, ABS with EBD, Front Disc Brakes, etc. The powertrain options will remain consistent with those offered on the 4th-gen Swift, ensuring a reliable performance foundation.
