Tata Harrier.ev
Launch: By March 2025
Tata Motors showcased the production-ready Harrier.ev at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024 in February, with its official launch set for March 2025. Built on the Acti.ev platform, which it shares with the Punch.ev and Curvv.ev, the Harrier.ev retains its ICE sibling’s design while incorporating EV-specific touches such as a closed front fascia with horizontal slats, EV badging above the door cladding, and redesigned alloy wheels.
Inside, the cabin features a modern dual-tone white and grey theme, refreshed seat upholstery, and updated interfaces for both the infotainment and digital instrument clusters.
Battery Specs:
60 kWh Battery Pack – Front-Wheel-Drive [FWD] & 4-Wheel-Drive [4WD] – 450-550 KMs Range
On the features front, it includes a 12.3-inch infotainment system, a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, front ventilated seats, powered front seats, a panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, and a JBL sound system. Additional highlights include dual-zone climate control, seven airbags, a powered tailgate, and five terrain modes—Normal, Snow, Sand, Rock, and Grass. Tata may also include heated seats and enhanced ADAS functions for added convenience.
The Harrier.ev is expected to be priced between Rs. 22-30 lakh (ex-showroom).
Tata Safari.ev
Expected Launch: By March 2025
The Safari.ev has been spotted testing on Indian roads, suggesting that its launch will coincide with the Harrier.ev in March 2025. Like its sibling, the Safari.ev incorporates EV-specific design updates such as a closed front fascia, horizontal slats, and EV badging above the door cladding. The cabin will follow a similar dual-tone white and grey theme with refreshed seat designs and updated themes for the infotainment system and digital cluster.
Battery Specs:
60 kWh Battery Pack – Front-Wheel-Drive [FWD] & 4-Wheel-Drive [4WD] – 450-550 KMs Range
The equipment list will closely mirror the Harrier.ev, including ventilated seats for the first and second rows, powered front seats, a panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree surround-view camera, and a JBL sound system. Additional features will include a 12.3-inch infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, seven airbags, and a powered tailgate. Tata is also expected to offer heated seats, powered second-row captain seats for the six-seater variant, and five terrain modes—Normal, Snow, Sand, Rock, and Grass—along with improved ADAS functionality.
The Tata Safari.ev is expected to be priced between Rs. 25-32 lakh (ex-showroom).
Tata Sierra.ev
Expected Launch: Q4 2025
Tata Motors has confirmed that the Sierra.ev will launch in FY 2025-26, with its debut likely in the last quarter of 2025 between October and December. Drawing inspiration from the iconic Tata Sierra of the 1990s, the Sierra.ev combines retro design elements such as square-shaped wheel arches and curved rear windows with a modern, tall stance. The EV was first showcased as a concept at the Auto Expo 2020, followed by its pre-production reveal at the 2023 Auto Expo.
The Sierra.ev will be based on Tata’s Gen2 EV platform and is expected to offer two battery options—55 kWh and 60 kWh—with a range exceeding 500 km. While its features list will align with the Safari.ev, Tata will emphasize rear-seat comfort and luxury for the Sierra.ev. The rear seats are likely to offer significantly more legroom and premium comfort, catering to customers seeking a luxurious passenger experience.
The launch timeline for the Tata Sierra.ev is set for FY 2025-26, with prices expected to be announced closer to its launch.
Tata Punch Facelift
