Hyundai Venue is the latest entrant in the compact SUV segment and it is just lighting up its rivals.It is one of the recent launches by the Korean car makers, the most recent is their pure electric and India’s first Electric SUV, Hyundai Kona.
Hyundai has launched Venue in India back on May 21, 2019 and from then it has become very popular and generating a lot of interest in the Indian market.Hyundai Motors India Limited have enjoyed a lot of success with its Creta SUV and which is still doing more than 8000 units per months and making up to the top selling cars in India every month.

Hyundai Venue has crossed 50,000 bookings in just 60 days while Hyundai also received more than 2 Lakh enquires for the futuristic SUV as well.This success is due to a number of factors including variety of engine options, very competitive pricing, Blue Link technology and premium interiors and exteriors.

We are extremely overwhelmed by the enthusiastic response and milestone created by VENUE with 50,000 bookings within sixty days of launch.
We are glad that Indian customers have shown their faith in the Blue Link Connected Technology as out of the total VENUE delivered so far, over 55% of the cars are Blue Link Enabled Variant. Out of the 50,000 bookings, over 35% of customers have preferred the Hyundai’s in house Best in Segment – DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) Technology.”
Hyundai Venue is offered in a variety of engine options including 1.0 L turbo petrol engine which is offered in 6 speed manual and 7 speed DCT automatic option.Along with this there are 1.2 L 4 cylinder VTVT petrol unit which comes only in E and S variants and is mated to 5 speed manual transmission.There is also a great combination of fuel efficiency and performance in the form of 1.4 L Diesel engine which gets teamed up with 6 speed manual gearbox.
But it is the top end trims which has managed to grab the major attention with the variants with Blue Link connectivity receiving 55% of the overall bookings and 1.0 Turbo petrol GDI DCT AT option grabbing 35% of those 50,000 bookings.
Hyundai Venue also comes in 3 types of interior theme options as well as a variety of exterior colours as well along with three dual tone colour options.Venue was being launched at a introductory price of Rs.6.50 Lakhs with top end fully loaded variant costing Rs. 11 Lakhs (Prices, Ex Showroom).
In terms of standard equipment, it gets Dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, Rear parking sensors, Central locking, Impact sensing auto door unlock, Speed sensing auto door lock, Front seatbelt reminder. Front Seat belt pretensioner, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, High Speed Alert and Immobilizer.
The top end trim has 6 airbags, Electronic stability programme, vehicle stability management, push start stop button with smart keyless entry, hill assist control, rear camera, driver rear view monitor, headlamp escort function, rear washer + wiper and defogger.It boasts some class leading and top notch features including blue link technology, wireless phone charging, smart air purifier with self cleaning technology, 8 inch HD infotainment system, leather finish on door trims and armrest, 60:40 split rear seats and cruise controls.
