In coming weeks, Maruti will be launching the SUV to compete against Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV, Hyundai Creta EV, and Mahindra BE 6. However, the new EV gets these new features over the Grand Vitara. Let’s take a look:
For the first time in an Maruti car, the eVitara will be getting Level 2 ADAS with functions such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, and more. These features prove useful in everyday driving, significantly improving the vehicle’s active safety and driver assistance.
The eVitara will be equipped with a larger dual 10.25-inches displays – Infotainment and Digital Driver’s Display. Meanwhile the Grand Vitara comes with 9-inches Infotainment and a 7-inch Digital Cluster for Hybrid variants.
The Grand Vitara uses a conventional handbrake lever while the eVitara is equipped with an Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold Function offering added convenience and enhanced safety, especially in stop-and-go traffic conditions.
The eVitara comes with a 10-way Power Adjustable Driver Seat providing enhanced comfort and personalized seating positions for the driver. The Grand Vitara on the other hand has to be manually adjusted to your comfortable position.
The eVitara is the first SUV from Maruti to come with 10 Speakers Sound System from Infinity, delivering an immersive audio experience with premium sound quality. The Grand Vitara, however, comes with 6 Speakers Arkamy’s 3D Surround Sound System.
