Honda March 2023 Sales figures has been revealed as it sold 6,692 units in March 2023, which is 1.56% year-on-year growth against the 6,086 units in March 2022 with just 103 units volume growth. When you compare these sales figures to its previous month, February 2023, it did 9.95% month-on-month growth, as in February 2023, it sold 6,086 units with 606 units volume growth in March 2023. Honda currently has only two models on offer and that is the City and the Amaze with the WR-V and Jazz discontinued.

Honda has also saw an increase in exports as well with 6,086 units, which is 42.17% year-on-year growth with against the 2,243 units sold in March 2022 with 946 units volume growth. Adding the domestic and exports sales figures, Honda in March 2023 as sold 9,881 units with 11.88% year-on-year growth against the 8,832 units with 1,049 units volume growth.

Honda sales in Quarter 1 2023 is 20,599 units which is 14.89% decreased growth over the Quarter 1 2022 with 3,604 units decrease volume growth. However, even when you compare this figure with the Quarter 4 2022, it still reports 12.92% decline with 3,057 units less volume growth.
Mr Yuichi Murata, Director, Marketing and Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd, said that, “We are pleased to report that our sales for the Financial Year 2022-23 have met our expectations. Honda Cars India has achieved a domestic sales growth of 7%, driven by the strong and positive sales momentum of our models specifically the Amaze and City. The Amaze’s sales have grown by 33% in last fiscal year being one of the most preferred family sedans in India.” He continued saying that the exports sales performance have been really good as well as it has increased by 17%.
He added, “Despite the persistent challenges posed by the global chip shortage and its impact on production volumes, the Indian automobile industry has had one of its strongest years in terms of sales. We believe that India holds significant potential and anticipate even greater demand in the years ahead.”
