In an effort to boost the sales of already India’s top selling car,Dzire,Maruti Suzuki has introduced a new special edition of the Dzire sedan.
2018 Maruti Dzire Special Edition is on offer with the petrol and diesel trims.This Special Edition variant is available on the basic models of Dzire,LXI and LDI.
Special Edition model is priced Rs. 30,000 higher than LXI/LDI.Petrol base model of Dzire Special Edition LXI model pricing starts from Rs. 5.55 lakhs while diesel LDI variant starts from Rs. 6.55 lakhs(Ex-Showroom,Delhi).
Features of 2018 Maruti Dzire Special Edition includes reverse parking sensors,front power windows,central locking system,2 speaker bluetooth system and wheel covers.
2018 Dzire is based on Suzuki’s HEARCTECT platform.Apart from this,is features a completely new design with thorough update on the inside with increased legroom,headroom and much more.
Engine options offered include 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.3-litre diesel engine.Both of these engines gets option of manual and automatic transmission.Mileage is 22 kmpl for petrol trim while diesel makes high fuel efficiency of 28.4 kmpl.
Dzire along with New Swift are currently the highest selling models of India.Also Maruti has a target of selling 2 million units a year by 2020.Also MSIL will also invest Rs. 7,000 crores at the toyota plant in Bangalore,where they will manufacture Baleno and Brezza along with another Rs. 2,000 crores investment in Gujarat plant.
Recent discounts on Maruti Dzire and this special edition model will further strengthen its game against the likes of the Honda Amaze, Hyundai Xcent and Tata Tigor in India.
