In the last few months, Maruti Suzuki has brought facelift of a number of it’s cars.Whether it’s Ciaz Facelift, New Ertiga, or New WagonR, Maruti has received quite a good response for all the cars.And Maruti is also gearing up to update it’s one of the highest selling model which has crossed many milestones within short span of time.Yes, it is the Maruti Suzuki Baleno.Baleno Facelift has been spied a number of times on both interior and exterior front.The Spy shots gave us an idea of the exterior changes that it will imbibe along with the features update.
As per the latest report, Baleno Facelift will get a bit modification in variants name as Hyundai has done with its Elite i20 2019.Sigma model name will not be changed while the Delta, Zeta and Alpha trims will now be called SIgma+, Delta+ and Zeta+ respectively.
Baleno Facelift will be seen in terms of certain stylish updates which includes 3D pattern for front grille, tweaked front fog lamps housing, new alloys and reworked tail lamps and bumpers.Interior of the car will also be updated in the form of new black and blue upholstery.More standard safety equipments will be on offer to adhere the upcoming safety regulations.Baleno Facelift bookings are already underway with deliveries beginning from February.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno is currently priced between Rs. 5.38 Lakhs and Rs. 8.49 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom,Delhi).2019 Baleno Facelift will cost Rs. 25,000 than the outgoing model.But still at this price segment, it is very competitive against it’s rivals.Baleno RS will also receive an update in 2019 and will get more sporty elements inside out.
Baleno Sigma is the base model of 2019 Baleno Facelift lineup and is expected to be priced between Rs. 5.6 Lakhs and Rs. 7.54 Lakhs.(Ex-Showroom,Delhi) depending whether you choose petrol or diesel fuel option.
It will get features like 3D deigned front grille, LED rear combination lamps, new dual tone black and blue interiors, power steering with tilt function, Manual AC with heater, Adjustable front headrests and Front Power Windows.Safety Features of Baleno Facelift includes Speed alert system, Driver and co-driver seatbelt reminder, Reverse parking sensors and Next Safety Shield.
Baleno Sigma+ is the second variant of New Baleno lineup and will be priced between Rs. 6.25 Lakhs and Rs. 7 Lakhs.It will be offered in Petrol manual, diesel manual and petrol CVT.
This variant gets LED projector headlamps, full wheel covers, Electrically foldable and adjustable ORVM with turn indicator.Music system is a 2-DIN Audio setup.Other comfort features includes Auto AC, Rear Adjustable headrest, all 4 power windows, 60:40 split rear seat, Auto-up and anti-pinch device for driver’s window, Steering wheel mounted audio controls and Rear Wiper+washer along with demister.
Baleno Delta+ is the third variant of Baleno Facelift and is will be priced between Rs. 6.3 Lakhs and Rs. 8.1 Lakhs.Like he Sigma+ Variant, this trim will be available in petrol manual, petrol CVT and diesel manual.
Delta+ variant gets 16-inch alloys, colour multi-info display and auto dimming inside rear view mirror, driver seat height adjustment, reach function for the steering wheel.The infotainment system is a new 7-inch setup which comes with on-board navigation.Chrome boot garnish, front fog lamps and push start/stop button with keyless entry will be provided in Delta Plus.
Baleno Zeta+ is the new top model of 2019 Baleno Facelift and it is expected to be priced between Rs. 7.60 Lakhs and Rs. 8.80 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom,Delhi).This new variant which is offered in petrol manual and CVT and diesel manual replaces the Alpha trim.
The UV cut glass which were earlier provided from Zeta variant now comes exclusively in Zeta+ variant of Baleno Facelift.This new trim also gets a number of upgraded features like LED Projector Headlamps with LED DRLs, Follow me home headlamps and auto headlamps.Infotainment system is now updated and gets voice command, remote control via smartphone app and also display view for reverse camera.Leather wrapped steering wheel is now provided in Zeta Plus top model.
