Honda Cars India have launched an all new V trim of WR-V.It is placed between the base S and top end VX model.Not only this, Honda also has added more features in S and VX trims.
The new V variant launched is only offered in 1.5 diesel manual option.It gets features like 16 inch gun metal multi spoke alloys, chrome door handles, micro roof antenna, front fog lights, turn indicators on outside door mirror and LED DRLs along with positioning lamp.
These were the changes on the exterior front.Some of the top features of this variant includes 7 inch advanced touchscreen infotainment system with audio video navigation, steering mounted controls, automatic ac, cruise controls, Push Start/Stop Button with white and red illumination, Tilt and Telescopic Steering Wheel and Honda Smart Key with Keyless Entry.
Some more features that have been added to the base model to make it more value for money are automatic ac with touch control panel along with one touch up and down for driver side window with driver side window.
Safety features add-ons includes Reverse Parking Sensors, High Speed Alert System, front fog lamp, speed sensitive automatic door locks and Seatbelt reminder for driver and passenger side.These are the new safety equipments which would be offered right from the base trim.
Also, the VX model also gets new features including leather wrapped steering wheel.Other than this, there is no change in top model.
Currently, Honda WR-V is offered in 1.2 L petrol engine generating 110 NM of torque and is mated to 5 speed manual gearbox and it also gets 1.5 L diesel unit producing 200 NM of torque and power is transmitted through 6 speed manual gearbox.Neither of them offer automatic option and the diesel variants are generating better demands.
Also, the prices of Honda WR-V have also increased.The petrol base model is now Rs. 31,000 more expensive while the diesel base if 32,000 premium.Price of 1.2 Petrol VX has increased from 9.17 L to 9.25 L while that of diesel have got dearer by 5,000.Here is the complete price list of 2019 Honda WR-V:
