2019 Hyundai Creta : What’s New?

2019 Creta updated with new features, gets new SX(O) Executive variant and new prices.

Hyundai India has recently updated its premium and top-selling Hyundai Creta SUV with new features, standard safety features, and yes the price has been slightly increased also.First major addition is the new SX(O) Executive variant which now is the top-spec trim of Creta which comes with front ventilated seats which are even seen on Hyundai Verna.Along with this, the tail lamp unit gets LED treatment.And the LED tail lamps will be offered on SX, SX(O) and SX(O) Executive models.

The SX(O) Executive variant comes in 1.6 L VTVT Petrol and 1.6 L CRDi diesel manual options.The top variant misses out on automatic transmission.The lower variants – E, E+, S wears semi-fabric seat upholstery while the top trims gets new premium seat upholstery.

In order to meet the new safety regulations, Hyundai has loaded Creta with a number of new safety features like Rear Parking Sensors, Passenger Side Seatbelt reminder and Speed Alert System along with Eco Coating technology which is now standard in Creta.It mainly removes bad odour and smell from the cabin by preventing them from developing in the AC evaporator. 

Now the SX variant gets an option of Dual tone paint scheme on the manual SX model.What SX Dual Tone gets over SX trim includes R17 diamond cut alloys, Auto Link, Smart Key Band, Body Coloured Rear Garnish, Dual Tone Exteriors – White with Black and Orange with Black and it gets a sporty all black interior with new orange colour pack.S variant of 2019 Creta gets driver and passenger side seat back pocket.

Transmission options still remains the same – 1.6 L petrol with figures of 121 BHP and 151 NM of torque, 1.4 L Diesel engine with 220 NM of torque and powerful 1.6 L CRDi unit churning out 129 BHP and 260 NM of maximum torque.

While there is an increase in the price of the SUV.The prices of the popular SUV in 2019 has been increased by upto Rs. 29,366.2018 Creta prices were between Rs. 9.5 Lakhs and Rs. 15.63 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom).Launch of New Creta is expected in February 2019.Deliveries of the SUV will begin mid-february onwards.

The Hyundai Creta SX (O) Petrol is priced at Rs. 13.66 lakh and the Creta SX (O) Diesel is priced at Rs. 15.10 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi).These new features, new safety kit and a new variant will help Creta to further rule the SUV segment.The prices of 2019 Creta are as follows:
