Few days back, Mahindra XUV300 has been officially revealed.Bookings for the compact SUV has also begun in certain cities.Now the launch date of the Mahindra’s compact SUV has also been confirmed.Mahindra XUV300 launch in India has been stated for February 15, 2019.
Mahindra XUV300 will be based on X100 platform which also underpins the Ssangyong Tivoli.Although the Ssangyong Tivoli which is a global product which has achieved many milestone and is also many award holder, but for Indian market this model has been altered in order to keep in under 4-metre.
The Prices of the Mahindra SUV are expected to be between Rs. 8 Lakhs and Rs. 11 Lakhs.Mahindra XUV300 2019 will be based on cheetah design and carry a number of clues from XUV500.Interior of the XUV300 will get premium dual tone upholstery and boast top notch comfort and convenience features.
A number of class leading features will be offered in XUV300 including sunroof, stylish 17-inch alloys, fully automated temperature control, steering mounted controls, rear ac vents, push start/stop button with keyless entry, height adjustable driver seat and first in segment dual zone auto ac and 7 airbags. It is also expected to get front parking sensors as well.Talking about the standard features for the XUV300, it will get ABS with EBD, Front Dual Airbags, Speed sensing auto door lock, Impact sensing auto door unlock, All 4 Disc Brakes, Driver Seatbelt Reminder and Reverse Parking Sensors.
Mahindra XUV300 will be powered by BS-IV engines including a 1.2-litre G80 petrol engine and the most powerful engine of the segment – 1.5-litre Diesel engine which makes 123 PS of power and massive 300 NM of torque.Both these units will be mated to a 6-speed manual transmission at the time of launch.Automatic unit will make way to XUV300 in 2020 and Mahindra is also working on electric XUV300 with a range of 300 KM whose launch has been slated for mid-2020.
Mahindra XUV300 will rival the likes of segment leader Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ford Ecosport, Honda WR-V and upcoming Hyundai compact SUV codenamed Qxi.
