Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza has been the highest selling SUV in its segment for a long time.But with the launch of Hyundai Venue and Mahindra XUV 300, the sales of Maruti’s sub compact SUV have been slightly impacted.Launched back in March 2016, it has just got minor updates in the form of dual tone colour options along with the availability of AMT option.
After around three and half years, Maruti Suzuki will be bringing the facelift update for Brezza SUV.A number of cosmetic changes will be made including reworked front grille, bumpers and alloys.Interior theme will also be new while there will be all new 7 inch Smart Studio infotainment system which made its debut on Baleno Facelift.
Along with this, more features will be on offer out of which the most important and required is an electric sunroof which will be seen on Vitara Brezza Facelift 2019.Along with this, it will also gets 4 airbags which will be limited to only top spec trim.
Currently, Vitara Brezza is offered with 1.3 L fiat sourced Diesel engine with 220 NM of torque and comes teamed up with 5 speed manual and 4 speed Automatic transmission options.For the facelift, Maruti Suzuki will also bring BS-VI compliant petrol engine for Brezza which also powers Ertiga MPV and Ciaz as well.This motor makes 103 BHP of power and 138 NM of peak torque.Transmission options will include 5 Speed Manual as well as automatic options.Mileage will be close to 18.5 kmpl.The 1.3 L Diesel engine will face discontinuation in March 2020 and Brezza facelift will also get the in house 1.5 L Diesel engine as well.
Price will start around Rs. 6.7 Lakhs.Brezza facelift will be launched in India in September or October 2019.Vitara Brezza rivals Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV 300, Honda WRV and Ford EcoSport.
