Toyota Glanza Facelift has been finally introduced and this time around the hatchback is offered in 4 variants instead of top 2 trims based on Baleno last time. It gets better warranty package with 3 years / 1 L kms coverage.
As compared to Baleno, Glanza features distinctive elements to provide a simplistic yet sporty look. Front grille features single slat bar. Headlamp unit is although same but DRLs design is different from the donor. Fog lamps have thick C-shaped chrome surrounds while bigger air dams ensures it draws enough attention on road.
Move to the side, you will notice the design of alloys has been altered a bit for Glanza.
Rear profile is more or less the same as Baleno, save for the black elements in tail light and badging.
Dimensions and kerb weight of Glanza is no different from Baleno.

Glanza can be had in total 5 colour schemes – Insta Blue, Gaming Grey, Enticing Silver, Sportin Red and Cafe White.
Like the changes on the outside, even the cabin features a dual tone black and beige environment. Here you can notice similar aspects like heads up display, auto ac, 9” dash top system and more.
So to conclude, interior is differentiated with badgings and distinct theme.
The facelifted variant continues to direct lift the equipments as of Maruti Baleno. Some of the top equipment on offer are 6 airbags, LED projector headlamps, rear ac vents, 360 degree camera, 9” touchscreen system and more.
Baleno and Glanza both are underpinned by HEARTECT platform.
The powertrain and transmission unit is exactly similar as well. While Baleno will get CNG choice in next coming months, there is no word as of now whether the Toyota’s iteration would receive the same or not.

Post the launch of Glanza, Toyota India will bring new Urban Cruiser & rebadged Maruti Ertiga/XL6, most probably in may end, Land Cruiser in June and mid size Creta-rivalling SUV in festive of this year.
