BS 6 2020 Datsun Go, Go Plus Launched, Redigo Facelift to launch soon

BS 6 Datsun Go and Go Plus have been launched at Rs. 3.99 Lakhs and Rs. 4.2 Lakhs respectively

The BS 6 variants of Go and Go plus have been launched in India.The hatchback, Datsun GO gets the price tag of Rs. 3,99,000 with the top spec trim costing Rs. 6,25,000 (Ex showroom) which translates into price increase by Rs. 21,000 for the base model while the top end model gets cheaper by Rs. 4,0000.

While the 7 seater Go plus with an extra third row is priced between Rs. 4,19,990 and Rs. 6,69,990.Like the Datsun Go, the MPV has got costlier by Rs. 5,000 for standard model while the top variant sees a price dip by Rs. 13,000.Variant lineup of the two cars includes base D, A, A(O), T, T(O), T CVT and T(O) CVT.

Both the BS 6 Datsun cars features 1.2 litre 3 cylinder petrol engine with 76 BHP for CVT and 67 BHP for manual with peak torque of 104 NM.CVT automatic transmission is on offer for both the cars along with 5 speed manual transmission.Sports mode is also available in both these Japanese cars.

Some of the top features of Go and Go+ are 14 inch machine cut wheels, LED daytime running lamps, 7 inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay, android auto.Top safety features includes ABS with EBD with brake assist, front dual airbags, rear parking sensors, follow me home lamps and first in class electronic stability management system.

BS 6 2020 Datsun Go and Go+ MPV are available in 6 exterior colour schemes – Opal White, Crystal Silver, Bronze Grey, Amber Orange, Ruby Red and Vivid Blue.The standard warranty package includes 2 years, which can extended upto a term of 5 years on a minimum cost.Datsun India is also providing 2 years of free RSA on both these cars along with warranty.

Also the buyers have the flexibility to opt for easy financial schemes with which they can buy the car now and start the EMI in 2021. There are a number of other options including EMI assurance benefit, low EMI benefit as well as 100% finance option.

Datsun GO takes on Hyundai Santro, Maruti Wagon R and Tata Tiago which has got BS 6 update quite a while back.The bigger Datsun Go+ finds competition with Renault Triber which is set to get AMT transmission soon.
