Creta Facelift will go on sale in India this year with features like ADAS, 360 degree camera and more.
Hyundai Creta, just recently got addition and deletion of number of variants. First time launched in 2015 and new gen introduced in 2020, and now the car is ready for facelift update.
Here are top 5 important things you need to know about Creta facelift:
1. Creta Facelift – Any Changes in engine options?
Currently available in choice of 3 engines – 1.4 Turbo Petrol, 1.5 NA Petrol and 1.5 Diesel, New Creta is expected to continue with the same set of powertrains.
1.4 turbo petrol which comes solely mated to DCT gearbox, might get an additional choice of manual transmission, if there is enough demand.

2. Creta Facelift – Exterior, Interior Updates?
The contemporary Creta has polarising looks. With the facelift, it looks much more modern.
Top highlights are Tucson inspired front grille, new headlamp design, updated front and rear bumpers, sporty character lines on rear section and departure of high mount stop lamp, earlier resulting in somehow connected tail lamp setup, to its originial position.
Black inserts inside the cabin will pave way for piano black finish (same like Alcazar) which is surely going to amp the luxury quotient. Instrument cluster unit is also a direct lift from its 7-seater version while ambient light, this time around, will have configurations upto 64 colours.
3. Creta Facelift – Dimensions & platform
Since this a facelift and not a generation update, one can expect the dimensions and specifications to be exactly similar as before.

Underpinned by advanced K2 platform, Creta will continue with the same base with this update. The SUV’s direct rival, Kia Seltos, also shares the same platform and scored 3 stars in NCAP test.
4. Creta Facelift – New Features
Hyundai Creta is loaded to the brim. You can expect other high tech features like 360 degree camera, digital instrument cluster, multi colour ambient lighting, LED fog lamp, more features in blue link along with ADAS on offer.
ADAS will first be available in Tucson (in new gen Tucson) in India, then afterwards in Creta facelift, Alcazar and others.
5. Creta Facelift – Price & Launch Date
Creta new model will be available across the Hyundai dealerships most probably by December 2022. Currently priced between Rs 10.23 lakh and Rs Rs 17.85 lakh, we can expect Rs 6,000 to Rs 10,000 hike in overall prices.

While New Creta has still some time for introduction, in the time being, Hyundai will launch Venue facelift in May, Grand i10 NIOS Facelift in August, Kona EV Facelift & new Tucson in Q3, Alcazar with ADAS at year end along with Ioniq 5 sometime later this year, which will be brought to our shores as a CBU.
