Hyundai has updated it’s Elite i20 and Creta SUV in 2019 with many new safety and feature changes.Along with this, they have also added up new variants to both these cars.But before their official launch, we have got hands on the Magna Plus variant of New i20 2019 and we will be sharing it’s interior as well as exterior images.
Hyundai has recently updated it’s premium Elite i20 hatchback and this update has also been followed by increased price also.The update in 2019 has been seen in the form of new standard safety features to meet the upcoming safety regulations.
Not only the standard safety kit, but also Hyundai has done work on the features that every variant has got to offer.Now in 2019, Elite i20 Magna model has been renamed Magna Plus and is based on the combination of two variants – Magna Executive and Sportz.The third variant of Elite i20 2019 has been coined Sportz+ which comes in both manual and CVT option for petrol.
One safety feature that is added to the standard safety list includes rear parking sensors.Other than this, Eco Coating technology has also been standardised in i20.Major feature changes has been made to the Magna+, Sportz+ and Asta(O) variant of 2019 i20.
Upfront, Magna Plus 2019 features sleek chrome surround on the front grille, standard halogen headlamps with follow me home lamps, front fog lamps with stylish LED DRLs.Along with this, gloss black treatment is also seen on the front end.This particular variant rides on 185/70 R14 tyres with full wheel caps.ORVMs and door handles are in body colour.
Now the Magna+ variant gets steering mounted audio, bluetooth telephony and voice recognition controls.The music system is still a 2 DIN unit while the 7-inch infotainment system makes way to Sportz+.Instrument cluster has got a lot of information and looks premium as well.4 Speakers plus 2 tweeters comes in Magna+.
Comfort and convenience equipments includes electrically foldable ORVMs, rear ac vents, glovebox with cooling function, keyless entry, all 4 power windows.if we talk about the keys of this variant, then there are a total of 2 keys – one smart key and one standard key.Cabin lamps along with charging sockets are already provided in this variant.
New Elite i20 continues with the same set of petrol and Diesel engines.The petrol motor makes 83 PS of power and 114 NM of max torque with the 1.4 diesel generating 220 NM of torque.No changes in either specifications or mileage figures have been made.
