Hyundai Alcazar will have multiple new features over Creta to justify its premium price sticker.
Hyundai Alcazar will borrow engine and transmission choices from Creta SUV. The SUV will be introduced in May 2021 and will take on the likes of MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari and Upcoming New Mahindra XUV500. To compete with the cars of this segment, any new entrant has to be a complete all rounder in terms of features, engine choices, design and others as well.
Hyundai Creta has been loaded up to the brim and here is a list of top 6 expected features that Hyundai Alcazar will offer over Creta:
While most of the mid size SUV comes with wireless phone charging for the front row passengers, Hyundai India will take a step further and make this feature available for the second row occupants as well. This feature is expected to be made available in the higher trims only.
While Hyundai Creta has got its base trim with 16-inch wheels, top end variants rides on bigger 17 inch alloys. For Alcazar, Hyundai will opt 18-inch alloys and most of the competitors features 18-inch wheel size.
Another feature which will make ti the equipment list of Hyundai Alcazar is LED fog lights. The headlamps are all LEDs and fog lights are expected to be in LEDs as well. Hyundai Creta boasts halogen fog lights.
Hyundai Alcazar is also expected to come loaded with ADAS technology, overseas known as the Hyundai SmartSense. Top features of Hyundai SmartSense are smart cruise control, highway driving assist, lane departure warning, rear cross traffic alert, automatic emergency braking tech among others. Upcoming Mahindra XUV500 is also expected to get hold of this feature.
MG Hector Plus comes with 360 degree camera and upcoming XUV500 is also expected to get the same feature in the higher trims. While the Creta has only sensors in the rear, upcoming Alcazar will get front parking sensors and was seen when it has been spied testing. While the 360 degree camera is also expected to be offered with the 7 seater SUV.
Hyundai Creta offers blue ambient lighting in SX and SX(O) trims while Alcazar will come with multiple colours for ambient lighting and will be woven at more places including cupholders, door pads and handles as well.
