Hyundai Aura prices starts at Rs. 5.8 Lakhs for petrol and Rs. 7.74 Lakhs for diesel
Hyundai Aura is the first launch by the carmakers in India for the year 2020 and with a couple of best in segment features, it also gets variety of engine options all of them being BS6 compliant.
In terms of exterior styling, upfront, the Aura gets projector headlamps, first in segment projector fog lamps, Hyundai’s cascading hexagonal grille which also integrates two boomerang shaped LED DRLs.It sits on 15 inch stylish diamond cut alloys wheels.While the rear section features Z Shaped LED tail lamps.
The cabin of Hyundai Aura looks similar to that of Grand i10 NIOS.Like the hatchback, it also gets dual tone upholstery however it gets the combination of brown and beige colour options.While the. 1.0 L turbo variant gets all black interiors with red inserts.It gets 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system with android auto, apple CarPlay, mirror link, navigation, driver rear view monitor, semi digital instrument cluster, automatic ac, wireless phone charging, rear ac vents, rear power outlet and adjustable rear seat headrests.
Top Features of Hyundai Aura includes wireless charging, cooled glovebox, LED tail lamps, 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system, semi digital instrument cluster, cruise control, electrically foldable ORVM.Safety equipments includes Remote central locking, ABS with EBD, driver and passenger seatbelt reminder, ISOFIX child seat mounts, rear parking sensors with camera, rear defogger, speed sensing auto door lock and impact sensing auto door unlock, engine immobiliser and front projector fog lamps.
Engine options includes 1.2 L Kappa Petrol engine with 83 PS of power and 114 NM of torque and draws power from 5 speed manual and automatic transmission.It also gets bi-fuel petrol-cng options as well.Aura also gets another petrol engine in the form of 1.0 litre turbo unit with figures of 100 PS and 172 NM.This 3 cylinder GDI unit is available with 5 speed manual gearbox.The claimed fuel efficiency of all petrol engines is 20.5 kmpl.
The Diesel engine is a new 1.2 litre Ecotorq engine with 75 PS and 190 NM of maximum torque.Like the petrol 1.2 engine, this motor also gets the option of both 5 speed manual and 5 speed smart AMT option.The fuel efficiency for diesel MT and AMT is 25.4 kmpl .All the engine are BS-VI compliant right from today and with this, Hyundai Aura becomes the first car in the segment to get BS-VI Diesel engine and this unit will soon find its way to Grand i10 NIOS as well.
Aura comes in 5 variants – E, S, SX, SX+ and SX(O).1.2 Petrol MT can be had in E, S, SX, SX(O) while the automatic 1.2 petrol is limited to S and SX Plus.1.0 L turbo can be had in just one trim – SX Plus.1.2 diesel MT is offered in S and top end SX(O) while diesel AMT comes in S and SX+.

Hyundai Aura can be had in a total of 6 exterior colour schemes – Typhoon Silver, Polar White, Titan Grey, Fiery Red, Vintage Brown and Alpha Blue while the 1.0 L turbo petrol manual variant will remain limited to only three colour paints which includes Polar White, Fiery Red and Typhoon Silver.
Hyundai Aura is offered with best in segment variable warranty options which Hyundai calls it ‘Wonder Warranty’.The customers have the option to choose from 3 years and 1,00,000 kms, 4 years and 50,000 kms and 5 years and 40,000 kilometres.Also, along with warranty, Hyundai India also offers 3 years of road side assistance as well.
Hyundai Aura finds itself in very poplar compact sedan segment in India and will take on Maruti Dzire, Honda Amaze, Volkswagen Ameo, Ford Aspire and soon to be updated Tata Tigor Facelift.
