Hyundai Creta SX Top 10 Features Detailed in Video

Hyundai Creta has become once again popular with the update and one of the best and most value for money trim is SX. Here are the top features of Creta SX model.

Creta SX model comes in 1.5 L MPI Petrol with 6 speed manual and 6 speed CVT, 1.5 litre U2 CRDi diesel with 6 speed MT / AT and 1.4 litre GDI with 7 speed DCT. But in this video we have covered the top features of 1.5 L SX variant and not 1.4 litre turbo petrol trim which gets a couple of more equipments over the regular 1.5 litre models.

1. Panoramic Sunroof

2020 Hyundai Creta offers full size panoramic sunroof which neither of its rivals vehicle and it a above segment features available in SUVs including MG Hector, Jeep Compass and Tata Harrier. This features is available in Creta right from SX trim.

The key rivals of Creta – Kia Seltos, Renault Duster, Nissan Kicks doesn’t get a panoramic sunroof while a number of new entrants including Skoda Vision IN will come bundled with the same.

2. Rear Recline Seats

Hyundai Creta SX and above trims offers 2 step recline function for the rear seats which enhances the comfort level. The first recline is of 32-degree and the second recline is of 27-degree. This feature is even available in Kia Seltos HTX and is available at a similar price tag as of Creta SX.Headrest cushion is also on offer in Creta which is limited to luxury cars.

3. Auto Folding ORVMs

Another key feature that the Creta offers in its most value for money, SX trim is auto foldable ORVMs. The outside wing mirrors gets integrated LED turn indicators as well as LED puddle lamps as well.

4. 10.25” Infotainment System

Hyundai and Kia offers the same size infotainment system in the top spec trims of their SUVs. 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system begins to be provided in the SUV from SX trim which supports, AUX, USB, BT, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Mirror Link, Voice Recognition, Navigation, Blue Link, Image and video playback.

Like any other Hyundai car, the UI of the system is very intuitive and responsive as well.This variant misses out on 8 speaker Bose Sound system and settles with Arkmays sound output (4 speakers + 2 front tweeters).

5. Advanced Blue Link

With the Creta SUV, Hyundai india is offering 50+ connected car features through which you can remotely turn on air purifier and monitor the air quality inside the cabin and tons of other settings although remote engine start stop remains limited to the top end SX(O) trim.

Also through voice command (with “Hello Blue Link”, the wake up word), you can ask cricket scores, open / close panoramic sunroof, configure the seat ventilation control, get information about public holidays. You can use the Blue Link via the smart watch app instead of mobile phone as well.

Connected car technology of Creta also gives notifications and warnings including Auto Crash Notifications, Panic Notification, Stolen Vehicle Tracking, Geo-Fence Alert, Idle Alert and much more.

6. Rear Window Sunshade

Another feature which the South Korean SUVs share is second row window curtain and starts from Creta from this feature rich SX variant. It functions to protect you from direct highlight and is available for left and right side both although it cannot be operated electrically as it has to pulled up and down manually.

7. Trio beam LED headlamps & tail lamps

Hyundai Creta comes with stylish triple LED headlamp unit with thick strip of DRLs which provides excellent visibility. The headlamps gets follow me home / lead me to the vehicle function. Along with this at the rear tail lamps are also all LEDs as well. LEDs can be even seen on the turn indicators of wing mirrors, puddle lamp and cabin lamps as well.

8. Cooled Glove Box

Cooled Glovebox is yet another convenient features of Hyundai Creta. It helps to keep your beverages and drinks cool. This feature is not on offer in any of the variants of Kia Seltos and was not even available in previous generation of Creta. What’s more good, it is standard available in the updated Creta.

9. Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel

Hyundai Creta comes with leather wrapped gear knob, seat upholstery as well as steering wheel. The steering wheel design will be carry forwarded to number of upcoming Hyundai cars including the New i20 hatchback scheduled for September 2020 launch.

Although one drawback of this unit, it the lack of telescopic adjustment which the key rival, the Kia Seltos offers. Even the old Creta didn’t offer the reach adjustment for the steering wheel.

10. Ambient Lighting

Hyundai Creta SX variant also comes with soothing blue colour ambient lighting and is available without availability of configuration even in the top end SX Optional trim while Kia Seltos offers sound mood lighting.
