Innova Crysta Base Model gets new Features like Cruise Controls and Touchscreen Music System

Recently Toyota updated it’s two of the highest selling premium products – Toyota Innova Crysta and Fortuner with many new features and 3rd party insurance.This add-on features was also equalised by slight hike in price too.

After a month of offering new features on Innova Crysta and Fortuner, Toyota has loaded the standard petrol variant of Innova Crysta,that is, GX with a few more premium features like steering mounted controls along with touchscreen infotainment system.Along with this, Cruise control is now available for the GX AT trim.

Other new features now on offer includes speed sensing auto door lock, impact sensing auto door unlock, electrically adjustable and foldable outside rear view mirrors with puddle lamps.

Second generation Toyota Innova Crysta which was launched back in May 2016 continued to dominate the Indian market like its predecessor.To give it’s customers more choice,sporty version of Innova Crysta was introduced in the form of Innova Crysta Touring Sport which was available only in the top-spec models  of Innova Crysta.

Toyota Innova Crysta, available with 7 and 8 seating layout, accounts for 6,500+ units every month.Under the hood, Innova Crysta gets three engine options.First is the 2.7-litre four-cylinder petrol unit with figures of 166 PS and 245 NM.This motor gets both the 6-speed manual and automatic transmission.Two diesel powertrains includes the smaller 2.4-litre 16V diesel motor which outputs 150 PS of power at 3,400 RPM with a torque of 343 NM between 1,400 and 2,800 RPM and the bigger and more powerful 2.8-litre GD unit with 174 PS @ 3,400 RPM and 360 NM of peak torque.

Toyota Innova Crysta comes in premium MPV segment competing with Mahindra XUV500 and Tata Hexa.
