Jeep India has officially launched the new Compass Limited Plus variant.The fully loaded model of Compass,Limited Plus,sits at the top of the Compass range with all the bells and whistles.This variant is about Rs. 1 Lakh costlier than the Limited (O) trim.
There are host of add-on features in Limited+ variant.Features list includes Dual Pane Panoramic Sunroof, 18-inch alloys with black and polished aluminium shade,blacked out roof.Along with this it gets a blacked out roof with slightly reworked front and rear bumper.
On the inside,it gets a large 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen infotainment system, additional USB port, tan leather seat,power adjust and memory function for the driver and passenger seat.
Safety features include Auto headlamps, rain sensing wipers, auto dimming rear view mirror and 6 airbags.Bookings for the SUV have already begun at Rs. 50,000 and deliveries will begin in the first week of October.
Jeep Compass was launched back in August 2017 and till now Jeep has completed manufacturing of over 37,000 Compass with 10,000 units being exported in just over 12 months.
Engines on offer remains the same for Limited+ variant – 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine and 2.0-litre fiat engine.The 1.4-litre petrol motor outputs 160 BHP @ 3750 RPM and peak torque is 250 NM @ 1750 RPM.This unit is mated to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox.The 2.0-litre diesel unit makes 171 BHP @ 3750 RPM and 350 NM @ 1750 RPM.This engine gets a 6-speed manual gearbox for both front and all-wheel drive.The smaller 1.4-litre petrol engine returns mileage of 14.1 kmpl while 2.0-litre one has fuel efficiency of 17.1 kmpl.
Colours available in Limited Plus trim includes Vocal White, Minimal Grey, Hydro Blue, Exotica Red, Magnesio Grey and Brilliant Black.
Now comes the pricing.Jeep Compass Limited Plus variant is offered in 4*2 2.0-litre diesel and 4*4 diesel engine along with 1.4-litre automatic engine.The front wheel drive variant of 2.0-litre diesel is priced at INR 21,07,900 while the AWD variant has a price tag of INR 22,85,400.The lone 1.4-litre trim is priced at INR 21,41,600(Prices,Ex-Showroom,Delhi).
