Kia Seltos is going to be launched in India on August 22, 2019.It is one of the most anticipated SUVs of 2019.When launched, it will take on the likes of Hyundai Creta, MG Hector and Tata Harrier.
Seltos will be one of the most advanced cars in terms of features on offer.It has to be a feature loaded vehicle as to enter the highly competitive segment as well as popular segment.Kia Seltos will be priced between Rs. 11 Lakhs and Rs. 17 Lakhs (Ex Showroom).
Kia Seltos gets Tigor nose front grille, all LED lights, 17 inch alloys and LED headlamps and tail lamps with ice effect.It also gets front and rear skid plates, side body cladding and in person is very long.Coming to the interior, it gets dual tone black and off white interior for all the engine options while the GT line trims gets red stitching to distinguish it from other standard variants.
Seltos comes in a total of 3 engine options along with 4 transmission options.It gets a 1.5 L naturally aspirated petrol unit with 113 BHP of power and comes offered in 6 Speed manual and 7 Speed CVT options.The diesel one is a 1.5 litre turbo engine which produces peak torque of 250 NM.It is offered with 6 speed manual and 6 speed torque converter.
Other than this, there is also a GDI petrol 1.4 turbocharged motor capable of generating 138 BHP of power and 242 NM of torque.It gets paired with 6 speed manual and 7 speed DCT gearbox.The fuel efficiency of the SUV will be revealed at the time of launch.
Seltos will be offered in around 8 variants.While the Diesel engine will be available in HT line with trims starting from base HTE model and going upto fully loaded HTX Plus model.While the petrol engine follows GT line with GTK being the base trim and GTX+ as the top variant.
