Maruti Celerio BS6 2020 Launched at Rs. 4.41 Lakhs, Check New Price

The prices of Celerio BS6 compared to BS4 has gone by upto Rs. 24,000.

Maruti Suzuki has just introduced the Bharat Stage 6 compliant variant of Celerio.Recently only, Maruti Eeco was updated to the latest standard norms and now the high selling tall boy hatchback has got the BS-VI compliant trims.The 2020 Bs-VI Celerio prices begins from Rs. 4.41 Lakhs for the base model LXI to the feature loaded ZXI Optional automatic.The prices as compared to BS4 has gone up between Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 24,000 depending upon the variant you opt for.

Maruti Suzuki has been upgrading their car lineup in India to BS-VI since the last years and has now almost upgraded its entire range to BS6 norms, the deadline for which is actually April 1, 2020.While certain Maruti cars are still BS4 including Celerio X, Alto K10 as well as Ignis which will soon get a major update in the form of facelifted Ignis which has been spied a number of times on test and is expected to be showcased at Auto Expo 2020 with expected launch in February end or March 2020.

Powering the Maruti Celerio is a 3 cylinder 998 cc 1.0 L K10B petrol engine with the power and torque output figures of 68 PS and 90 NM.The engine continues to draws its power from 5 speed manual and automatic gearbox.With an upgradation to BS VI, the fuel efficiency of Celerio petrol manual and automatic rated at 23.10 kmpl is likely to go down slightly.

In this BS6 version, no changes are made on the interior and exterior fronts.It continues to be offered in 6 colour schemes – Blazing Red, Silky Silver, Arctic White, Glistening Grey, Torque Blue and Tango Orange.Apart from the fuel efficiency and price increase, no other major changes are expected since in the last year only it was met with the latest safety norms along with other Maruti cars and got ABS with EBD, high speed alert system, reverse parking sensors as standard across all the variants of Celerio.

Top Features of Celerio includes 60:40 split rear seats, electrically adjustable outside rear view mirror with turn indicators, front and rear power windows, steering mounted audio controls, keyless entry, electric power steering and 4 speakers while the safety equipments includes ABS with EBD, high speed alert system, engine immobiliser, rear windshield wiper and washer, child proof rear seat lock, high mount stop lamp, front seatbelt with pretensioner with force limiter and driver and co driver seatbelt reminder.

Maruti Celerio continues to be one of the highest selling cars in the segment.The Maruti hatchback competes vs Hyundai Santro which will soon get a facelift, Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, Datsun Go and Tata Tiago Facelift which has got a January 22 launch.
