Maruti Eeco BS6 2020 Launched in India at Rs. 3.81 Lakhs

Maruti Eeco becomes one of the nine Maruti Suzuki cars to be upgraded to BS-VI.The carmakers have already updated a number of vehicles from their range to BS6 last year only and now the vehicle have also got updated to the latest emission standard ahead of deadline, April 1,2020.

Eeco is garnering a lot of sales for the brand.Selling at around 9,000 units per month, the Maruti car overall sales in 2019 were 1 Lakh and it recently also crossed 6.5 Lakhs sales milestone since its launch in the domestic market in January 2010.While introducing the BS-VI Eeco, the company has also shared the progress made every year with the first lakh Eeco being sold by FY11-12, 2 lakh overall sales were crossed in FY13-14.After this, cargo petrol variant was launch and in the Financial Year 2015-16, 3 lakhs sales were reported.And in the next financial year only, Eeco Minor variant was introduced.In this phase, it also crosses 4 lakh sales while in FY18-19, Eeco crossed 5 lakhs sales milestone. 

Under the hood, the BS-VI version of Maruti Eeco gets a 1.2 L petrol unit with power and torque output figures being 73 PS @ 6000 RPM and 98 NM @ 3000 RPM respectively.The ARAI certified fuel efficiency for the unit is 16.11 kmpl.It also comes in bi-fuel petrol-cng variant.Price of the BS-VI Maruti Suzuki Eeco begins at Rs. 3.81 Lakhs (Ex Showroom).

Maruti Eeco comes in variety of seating options and is utilised for various purposes.It includes 5, 7 seater, cargo and ambulance variant as well.The customers have a variety of variants to choose from.Features include standard halogen headlamps, headlight leveller, reclining seats among others.
