Maruti Suzuki has launched Ciaz facelift with certain interior and exterior changes with add-on features and engine options.

2018 Ciaz is offered in 4 variants – Sigma,Delta,Zeta and Alpha.While the New 1.5-litre petrol engine and old 1.3-litre DDiS engine is available across the whole range,the Petrol SHVS AT is offered in Delta,Zeta and top-Alpha model. 

Ciaz measures 4490 mm in length,with a width of 1730 mm and is 1485 mm tall.Wheelbase of the sedan is 2650 mm with bootspace of 510 litres and with 5.4 m turning radius.Fuel tank Capacity is 43 litres.Ciaz Facelift’s Sigma model sits on 185/65 R15 steel wheels with Alloys in Delta and Zeta variants.Top-spec trim gets stylish precision-cut 195/65 R16 Alloys.

Ciaz Facelift complies with BS IV emission standards with 2 years/40,000 kms warranty.Gross weight of the petrol manual is 1520 kgs and 1590 kgs for the diesel one.At front ciaz has ventilated disc brakes with drum brakes at the rear.Talking about the suspension,you get McPherson Strut at the front with Torsion beam at the rear.

COLOUR OPTIONS – Metallic magma grey, Pearl midnight Black, Nexa Blue, Pearl Sangria Red, Pearl metallic dignity Brown, Metallic premium silver and Pearl Snow White.

ENGINE OPTIONS

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz 2018 is available with 2 engine options.One is the New 1.5-litre K15 petrol engine with SHVS hybrid technology producing power of 104 BHP @ 6000 RPM with peak torque of 138 NM @ 4400 RPM.This unit which replaced the old 1368 cc petrol motor is mated to 5 Speed manual and automatic gearbox.Ciaz Petrol MT churns out fuel efficiency of 21.56 kmpl while the AT’s mileage is slightly low at 20.20 kmpl.

The diesel engine is the same old tried and tested 1.3-litre fiat sourced diesel unit with SHVS Hybrid engine having maximum of 88 BHP @ 4000 RPM along with torque of 200 NM @ 1750 RPM.This engine gets only a 5 speed manual transmission.Mileage of the diesel unit is 28.09 kmpl.This engine will be replaced by a new Suzuki-developed 1.5-litre diesel motor which will power the New Ertiga and even the S-Cross.
