Maruti XL6 will be launching in India on August 21, 2019.At the same day, new generation BMW 3 series would also be launched in the country.Along with this, there are a number of car launches for the next two weeks.

No doubt, Maruti Ertiga is going great. It has clocked 70,000 sales recently and is doing sales of over 8,500 units per month. But since the past few months, all the carmakers have faced reduction in their sales including Maruti and with XL6 and upcoming S-Presso hatchback which is slated for October launch, Maruti will surely be able to grab up the lost sales.

In terms of competition, Maruti XL6 will rivalling the likes of Mahindra Marazzo given the price in which it falls although Marazzo is currently available in a diesel powertrain only.
