Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) have announced the appointment of Davide Grasso as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Maserati.Along with this, he is also made the Company’s Group executive Council (GEC).Grasso has joined Maserati after playing a successful role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nike’s Converse.Before this, he also operated at NIKE, where he enjoyed lots of success by holding the position of Chief Marketing Officer for the brand.
Harald Wester has been appointed as the Executive Chairman of Maserati in addition to his responsibilities of Chief Technical Officer (CTO), including global powertrain as well as global engineering for the group.While maintaining strategic involvement in the brand and keeping a watch over technical and industrial areas, Wester will also oversee all product development and engineering which also includes the expansion of internal combustion engine as well as the expansion of hybrid and electric powertrains offering.
