The first engine is the 1.5 L turbocharged petrol hybrid engine that produces 143 PS of power and 250 NM of peak torque.It is mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox with claimed fuel economy of 15.81 kmpl.
This 48V hybrid unit gets Engine Idle Start Stop System, Regenerative Braking, E-Boost for better performance and high mileage.

Spare Tyre for all the variants remain of the same size – 215/60 R17 Steel Wheel.The tyre size of base style variant is 215/60 R17 Steel wheel while Super, Smart and Sharp trims gets 215/60 R17 Alloys.
MG Hector gets all four disc brakes and at the front it gets MacPherson Strut with stabiliser bar with semi independent helical spring torsion beam at the rear.
