As the launch of New Ertiga 2018 is around the corner,it is undergoing many tests.Our team has spied New Ertiga testing in camouflage around city,to be particular that was Punjabi Bagh flyover,Delhi.
Spy shots clearly reveal the new large front chrome grille along with projector headlamps with LED DRLs.Front bumper also grows up in size which has larger airdams.There is also black bezel around the fog lamp housing.Rear end gives an impression of the WR-V as the tail lights are in L-shape and also gets LED.Moving to the side,it sports 185/65 15-inch Alloys.As this one is the Top-end trim,it features 7-inch Touchscreen Infotainment system same as in New Swift and New Dzire.

The Ertiga wears the same Black and Beige upholstery with wooden finish on certain elements like the Dzire.The A/C vents at front are vertically aligned with roof mounted Rear Air cons.Cooled Cupholders is an add-on feature.Flat bottomed steering wheel,push start/stop button,new MID with redesigned dashboard will make Ertiga’s interior more premium.Ertiga 2018 will offer host of safety features including Rear Split seat,rain sensing wipers,reverse parking sensors with camera,ABS with EBD and Front Dual Airbags.
New Ertiga will be powered by 2 new Engines – 1.5L petrol engine which also powers the Indonesian model and a 1.5L Fiat-sourced diesel engine,both mated to 6 Speed Manual Transmission.Both petrol and diesel units are likely to get SHVS Hybrid Technology,which could result in high fuel efficiency.But initially Ertiga would get outgoing 1.3L DDiS Diesel engine which would be later swapped by new 1.5-litre diesel unit.
New Ertiga 2018 measures 4395mm long,has a width of 1735mm and is 1690mm tall.This means that it has grown up from it’s former model upto 130mm in length,40mm in width and is 5mm taller than the outgoing model.While the wheelbase has remained unchanged at 2740mm.Bootspace is now 153 litres with ground clearance of 180 mm.

Maruti Ertiga will launch along with two most awaited cars-Ciaz Facelift and New WagonR.The price of Ertiga is expected to be increased by Rs. 50,000 and will be priced between Rs. 6.8L-11.3L(Ex-Showroom,Delhi).The MPV is expected to hit the showrooms by early September.
