As the Nation celebrates 72nd Independence Day this month,Maruti Suzuki is offering discounts on it’s highest selling models.Here are the Swift and Dzire discounts.
The New Swift comes with a offer of Rs. 25,000 along with Rs. 25,000 exchange bonus along with Rs. 5,100 on corporate discount.Rs. 10,000 extra discount is offered if you exchange with your old swift.So if we sum up,we get upto Rs. 65,100 discount on New Swift which is available throughout the country although this scheme may vary from state to state.These discounts are offered on Swift VXi/VDi trims till August 15,2018.
2018 Swift was showcased at Auto Expo 2018 and is currently one of the highest selling car in India.Swift’s VXi/VDi models are the most popular and in high demand offering loads of equipments like remote keyless entry,electric ORVMs with indicators,power windows and much more.This model is offered in both petrol and diesel manual as well as AMT.Swift Diesel churns 28.4 kmpl while petrol one makes 22 kmpl.
Apart from Swift,Maruti Suzuki is offering Dzire 2018 at a discounted price.The Maruti Dzire LXi is currently priced at Rs 5,56,000 (Ex-showroom,Delhi), while the LDi version comes in at Rs 6,56,000 (Ex-showroom,Delhi).
Maruti is offering a discount of Rs. 25,000 for the base petrol variant,LXI,of New Dzire for the ‘Freedom Celebration’.The base LDi diesel model of Dzire gets Rs. 25,000 discount plus more discount if customers wants to exchange their old cars.
New Dzire LDi owners will get upto Rs. 30,000 as an exchange bonus,if the car which they are exchanging is less than 7 years old.However,if the car is older than 7 years,then those customers who opt for LDi will get an exchange bonus of Rs. 20,000.Exchange bonus of Rs. 30,000 is also applied to other diesel variants of Dzire.
Recently Honda has hiked the price of it’s New Amaze compact sedan with the base variant of Amaze rising by almost Rs. 30,000,which prices Amaze above Dzire petrol and diesel model.
This discount has made Maruti Dzire LXi model half a lakh rupees cheaper than New Amaze.While the Amaze E base diesel is Rs. 34,500 more expensive than Dzire LDi.If we include the August discount of Rs. 25,000,then Dzire comes in at Rs. 59,500 cheaper than Amaze.And if exchange bonus is also counted then the total benefits conclude at Rs. 79,500 if the car is very old but if the car is less than 7 years old then the total benefits goes up to nearly Rs. 90,000.
